Nowgorod Playable?

Can someone tell me how to make Nowgorod or all factions playable?

Any detailed description is hightly appreciated.

If you have VI, just grab the XL mod. Just about everyone possible is playable, among other things.

1. Go to my computer
2. Go to your hardrive (probably C)
3. Go to Program Files
4. Go to Total War
5. Go to Medieval - Total War
6. Go to campmap
7. Go to startpos
8. You should see 5 notepad documents. Viking, Early, High, Late, and Tutorial. Choose which era you will play from early late or high, and open it.
9. Scroll down a lot until you find a part that looks something like this

10. Major factions are playable and minor factions arent. Simply change where it says minor next to Novgorod to major

*Do not play glorious achievements mode with a faction that isnt supposed to be playable. If you want to play them glorious achievements you must download the XL Mod

I think 2.0 is the newest version.

Just download the mod then the patch (same thread) and have fun, I'm actually hooked on MTW again, which is both a credit to the mod and the game....and the limited amount of new games being released.

Get both the XL and the BKB mod, theyre both good, they both play and feel different, they both unlock different factions and different units, especially.

I'd say that XL is better. Both for balance as well as well...it looks more professinal. I admit tho I prefer some BKB nations over that of XL. For excample Navreere or Valenica.
