You can change the camera-setting in the Preferences.txt-file to debug camera. This will allow you to zoom in on the faces

    Hey mate, do this:

    - You must go to the preferences.script file in the folder C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun 2\scripts

You may need to show hidden files and folders to find this directory.

    - Open preferences.script, find the line "default_camera_type". It should have either 0 or 1 following it. Change the 0 or 1 to 2.

    - Save the file and exit it.

If you go into your options in-game, it will reset your camera to the original one, so be careful.

    cheers.

the '2' is the debug camera, the camera that allows you to freely zoom however low you want. The 0 and 1 are the the standard camera types you can find in the game options.

As for multiplayer, I've played a private match with a few friends in a 2 v 2 and there were no issues even though I had the debug camera enabled, so I don't think it causes any problems. When I'm playing properly, single player or multiplayer, I usually change my camera type to one of the standard ones as I simply prefer it. I only really use the debug camera for screenshots to be honest.

ok this is not what I wanted tough , what I wanted is to have the possibility to scroll in and out when I am locked on a unit , as you can see when you lock a unit with pressing canc or del it follows the unit when moves and you can zoom in and out but you can ohly untill a certain distance and you cant go further , I would like to be able to zoom in the face of the avatar when this modality is like it was in RTW ...
