Archers and experience

Archers and experience. i know that experience doesn't make their missile attack any stronger, that's good but does experience improve their fire rate or accuracy?

As far as I know, it doesn't improve those things.

i know it had an effect on hand-to-hand combat. However i wanted to know if it effected their ranged attacks?

It increase accuracy and accuracy will increase damage in a way because the archers can better aim the weak spots.

I don't think the game engine take into account the weak spots of an armour. But i agree that accuracy increase damage output, because your archer will miss less often.

Yes i was wondering if there really was any point to the archers guild or trying to get experienced archers if experience didn't do anything for ranged attach.

Their hand attack and morale get increased, just like other units. I don't know whether or not in increases their accuracy.

Actually it does, try to make a fight with a archer with 0 xp, then take the same archer and give 3 xp. Check the result
