Reinstall

If I want to uninstall Shogun 2 then isntall it again, will I have to wait for steam to download it again? it took ages...

Yes, unless you have the disc.

You can create a backup from Steam if you don't have the disk.

Why do you want to uninstall / reinstall?

The easiest thing to do if some files are messed up is to 'verify integrity of game cache'. In your game library right mouse click the game in the list and select properties.

When I logged in to steam I found Football Manager 2009 and Civilization 5 on there from ages ago, I had forgot I even bought them, what a treat.

Now I have 3 buggy incomplete games on there.

Just uninstall them and you won't be forced to see them there then.

You've ignored my question as to why you need to uninstall / reinstall which I asked along with the suggestion that you 'verify the integrity of the game cache'. You then posted that you found that you had three buggy incomplete games on your system.

It was a joke, the FM, Civ and TW series are notorious for releasing patches...
