not able to trade regions ?

i seriously find it the biggest disappointment in shogun2 that this has been let out.

makes the campaign so "1 way linear/stale"

not even to mention when you play with friends that you can't trade.

Well, in my campaign, one AI faction offered me alliance, trade, military access in exchange for a region I had just captured. It seems, at least the AI is able to trade regions. I could click the region trade part of the deal off, btw.

Maybe something went wrong with the interface for the player? The region trade option somehow did not make it to the menu...

Most likely it was originally in the game, but CA decided it's better to cut it out. I've never seen the AI offer/demand a land tho.

I agree, it is kind of let down. It would be nice to be able to give regions to your vassals to help create buffer zones but i suppose this does make sense with the whole honor system for daimyo.
