does this mod not work for Venice? I don't have the option to build the royal court or recruit the royal lady from Genoa which i captured.

Hello people. Love the idea of this mod. I've been trying to get it to work with The Long Road, but I hit a snag.

Hi, I just downloaded the mod as its written in installation guide at the first page. Then checked at setup. When started to early campaign-new game, the princesses are still look like default and i didnt find any royal court building. Did i installed correctly and need to construct another buildings? Or is it something wrong?
I downloaded RLC,but the royal envoy has no ui picture in the recruitment tab when playing as byzantium,and the royal lady has no name when she spawns,no matter the faction she comes from.
I also get a CTD when spawning a royal lady when playing as Novgorod
Im doing an update of this mod, which will include all european faction and though the script will be a bit larger having slightly more impact on turn times (is no that much still), it will allow some more freedom where to recruit the royal envoy instead of the current 1 fixed settlement per faction.
Also it will have the option to allow the AI to spawn these royal ladies once in a while
Complete restructuring for maximum compatibility with other submods and easy toggle on/off from the Sub mod manager
The only downturn is that it will require the Bugfix Compilation, but no real loss there.

If you control several of them, you'll be able to recruit Court Envoy from each.
- There is an additional script that can spawn Courtesan Ladies for AI factions once in a while during the campaign, if you don't want this you can go to "data/campaign/sub/RLC/NoAI/" and copy to "data/campaign/sub/RLC" the rlc_scriptAI.txt file and accept to overwrite.
- Simplified many of the scripts and "Court Envoy" no longer replace the "Sherwood Archers" bonus unit of Woodsmen Guild, but rather uses the freed slot by the removal of a duplicate unit "Dismounted Turhagut".
- Maximised compatibility by taking advantage of what the Submod manager can do, so no entire file is replaced but rather slightly and punctually edited or appended.
- Removed Public Order bonus from the Council of Nobles previously named Royal Court
- Replaced Royal Court icons with others more in line with M2 building ones.

I get an error when trying to enable the new RLC mod. It says that the file rlc_export_vnvs.txt does not exist nor does the file rlc_export_ancillaries.txt. Perhaps you have forgotten to include them with the 7z archive? Or did I make a mistake somewhere.
Apologies once again for another post... I still have not figured out how to edit posts...
After having fixed the file path issues, I experienced a CTD whenever I try to start a campaign. It goes to the loading screen and once the loading is finished, it crashes to desktop. A quick look at the logs gave the following cause: [data.invalid] [error] Insufficient video memory to load requested texture set.

Yep, did that as well. After a brief look at the files, I've noticed that the crusader states seems to be able to have royal ladies (there are texture models for it after all) but its' entry is missing in files like rlc_expanded.txt, rlc_export_descr_buildings.txt, rlc_descr_model_strat.txt...
There also seems to be some name discrepancies(?) between factions like spain->castille and russia->novgorod. I don't know if these two things could be the reason for the CTD... Just a couple of things I noticed when I poked around the files.
Included england's princess textures which are probably what was causing the CTD, also fixed the missing bits for crusader states
That seems to have done it. I'm able to start a campaign now although, I haven't had the time to actually play.
Another update, with some tweaks to localized text that wasnt displaying properly and etc.
That should be all for now, later in a couple of days or weeks xD i might update it with further script optimization and a workaround to the unnamed princess bug.

Sorry I forgot to tell, there is a CTD related to the unnamed character bug, which apparently happens when the unnamed character tries to get a trait that give an epithet. :/
will make some tests and see if Im right about the epithet traits...the traced log seems to point in that direction but havent fully tested it to be conclusive.
Yep is definitive, an epithet on a unnamed character will result in a crash :/
And following Ishan's indications to get rid of the unnamed character bug is not working for me either... almost 1 in 3 get this...
