Royal Ladies of the Court (RLC) for 6.4

What happened to the development of this mod? Did Bane and Ishan move onto other projects? Would have loved to use this with Byzantium, as no one ever seems to want to marry.. anyway, Ronnie +rep for your efforts to try and solve the problem

This mod is exactly what I've been looking for, but I do have a few questions and I hope that there is someone on here who can answer them (sorry if these questions have already been answered, but I can't find them). First off, is there no way to recruit the ladies with Scotland, because there is no building for it in Edinburgh. Second, and I know this has been discussed before, but is there any way to make this work with MSC. I really need the ladies mod to work because I hate it when marriage proposals stop coming, but I also love Meneth's Submod Compilation. Thanks for any help.

I just read a post from September from ronnie76 that said that he figured out how to have this mod and meneth's compilation and also he got Scotland working. If anyone knows how he did this, please let the rest of us know.

I got the mod working with Menth's Sub Mod Compilation and added royal court to Scotland plus my own custom Scotland roster and rarely have any crashes. I've never played Byzantium other than to test RLC so I can't say as to how my mod would work with them. I will test it a little this weekend and also try to test the Kom roster mod compatibility with RLC as well.

Unfortunately I was unable to get anywhere with the Byz fix. Problem in also with Kiev Rus.

I've noticed a small glitch. While playing as Norway(late campaign) you have a royal court already in Eikundarsund(excuse spelling) but you can also build one in Oslo, thus having two royal courts at the same time.

On another note does anyone know how to make it so Venice can have a royal court. Just the files needed to add them would be great. A great mod though, finally recruitable princesses. +rep

I must say this was much more complicated then I thought, the game doesn't just let you recruit princess like other agents in terms of the EDB, there were some serious coding involved to make this work, and as such there are probably a bit more limitation then you'd like but still a huge improvement over nothing.

So Bane and Ishan, have there been any further notes on the name issue? is the best cure at the moment try to stick to vanilla names as much as possible?

Although this thread looks dead I'll give it a try, maybe some day I'll have an answer . So, this submod worked perfectly for me when I installed it the first time more than a year ago. I decided to reinstall SS6.4 along with NHA, WeakerHeretics and RLC submods (I also had those 3 the first time and the submods are compatible, so I encountered no problems), but RLC doesn't work anymore (the princesses I recruit can't marry my family members, neither the generals). I searched the thread and it seems that I found someone who had the same problem:

For some reason, when I use a Royal Lady of the Court to right click on a settlement or general with an unmarried non-family general in it, I get the message "no generals available for marriage." However, when I click on the same general with a Princess they are shown as available for marriage. Furthermore, if I click on a Family general with an RLC they are still shown as available for marriage. So for some reason, it is just my non-family generals that don't work.

Except that, like I said, my recruited princesses can't mary family members either!

your best bet is to ask ishan, cause bane's gonna mia for quite awhile, as far as the name issue, i know bane had a idea for it, or maybe ishan, which is why they took it down for awhile, but it never got implemented.

No, RLC are supposed to be able to marry any general (whether he is a member of the royal family, an adopted general, a recruited general etc.). But it doesn't matter, I solved the problem, now it works. But it is odd that they can't marry the heir...

there considered brother and sister by the games hardcoded mechanics, why they can't marry.
