    hey guys,

    sorry again for the lack of updates and for not getting back to most of you. I have been studying like mad which will in time benefit the cause of the mod.

    Basically to give you a quick update on what is happening... I am currently working on transferring the the models I have created into the game. Along with this I have also been working on a few beauty renders. However the thing that has been taking the majority of my time up is looking into the programming language C++, I have a few ideas as to how this will benefit the mod but more will be revealed in time

    I have alot of documentation aswell which I am trying to finalise and will release when we have a stable forum to release the information in.

    On top of all this I am now looking at getting the mod team together. All previous applications have not been ignored and I will now begin to get in touch with those of you that have messaged me for jobs. I apologise for not replying sooner but please know I will reply shortly!

    I'm Actualley intrested in joining the team I could do some reasearch on ATHENS such as the basic history and all that I'm also working with other mod's right now too such as Isreal total war and anceint world total war roma vice total war

    After extensive testing I have decided that this mod will be hosted on the METW2 engine. A full summary of the decisions as to why we have made this mode will soon follow, however dont feel that all work done will be lost. Much the different! All work has not yet been set to a specific engine. The models and textures we are currently using will be optimised alot better on this engine which is one of the main reasons I decided for the switch. Anyway more info will soon follow!

    It's not a copy at all, it is, rather, an entirely different interpretation, that will show different result because the team and leader are different. This mod will also be on the M2TW platform, with a new set of models/skins for all units. So in the end, they are two entirely different mods, with two goals.

    Unit skins will probley be different check the wip hoplite
