Game crash upon loading save game.

I tried to load my latest save game and the game crashed with a "Shogun 2 has Stopped Working" message. I tried 2 more times and then I decided to verify cache, it found nothing wrong so I decided to load an autosave from 1 year previous.

That worked but then I went to save the game again and it crashed with the same error message. Now I can't load any save games. 13 hours of gameplay has been wasted unless some one knows a quick fix to this or CA finally fixes it.

I knew this game was gonna be buggy as hell because well what Total War game has not been buggy? But I did not think something like this would happen.

I have the same problem...

I just killed the Takeda with Tokugawa but now I can't load my game...

I also tried to load a previous savegame, that worked, but then I saved again a few turn later and guess what : I can't load it...

I have the same problem
It's just like saved game is geting corrupted after first loading.
I spend last two days to bypass the bug but with no succeess.
But i found something intresting.
Find Shogun 2 saved games (on Win7 you first must go to Control panel-Appearenc and Personalization-Folder options-View-show hidden files and folders and drives. Then your system disc (C/:, D:/...)-Users-user(name of user)-AppData-Roaming-The Creative Assembly-Shogun 2-Save games) And then Copy the save game that you didn't loaded at all to other location. Then the saved game you copyed you can use it. just copy it again to shogun 2 save game folder, and you can load it. But the problem is that after you load copy of the save game it's again gets corupted so you can save game but you can't load it again no mather what you do. So maybe you guys can think of something too.

Usually, if that happens, i'll reload an earlier point then cancel all actions, do nothing and then end turn until you reach the problem, if you end turn and it goes on, you're fine. If it ctd's then you haven't lost anything, because you haven't done anything. Though it usually works for me

Guys, anyone fix this yet? I tried both fixes from the links above and neither has helped.

I do not remember this problem happening before, when I first played through the campaign but now suddenly every save I make is corrupt. I also tried checking game cache and reinstalling/not using mods.

By the way the difference in my case is that I can still load all the savegames prior to a certain point, but if I save the last good savegame again then it is a corrupted save. Yes, I can try to restart from several saves before that but then I lose quite some progress...quite annoying.
