Graphical Glitch

as the Title Suggests im having Graphical Problems the Fiering arc dose not exist there is no Water when u select a unit u do not see the Yellow Highlight that Should appear and more

AMD Phenom II x4 3.2GHz
ATI Radeon 4870
8 gigs Ram
Windows 7 64 bit

I also just installed the latest ATI Drivers before I got the game.

I think the drivers were version 11.2.

srry not fully awake yet, some odd reason i was thinking u guys had nvida cards. Yes i have 5870, with 11.2 and havnt had that water issue. I would say try to use 11.4, but those are only for 5xxxx,6xxx series.

wow it looks that bad on a 6950... hmm whats your graphic settings. Also whats your cat settings at under 3d. Take a screenie if u can of em.

I was thinking about maybe upgrading anyways to get the DX 11 support.

I also have a heck of a time trying to install any new ATI drivers.

The ATI driver installation always seems to crash. I eventually had to install the drivers via the command line. I wonder if this is my issue.

very likely , gen. I would uninstall drivers if u can. DL driver sweeper, in safe mode, run it remove any hint of ati from your box. Then dl and install 11.2 fresh.

Thanks for the advice.

But I always use driver sweeper first.

In fact all ATI driver installs since the v 10 days have always crashed. I have looked all over the interweb installed C++ hotfixes and such and nothing seems to work... its really weird

its crashing when trying to install using ATI drivers, then it might be a symptom of a greater issue. Most likely software related. If it were me i would consider reformatting.

The thing is its the only issue I have ever had on my PC... I think it might have something to do with the C++ redistributable hotfix gone wrong or something.

also on the screenshots im pretty zoomed out so most of the Detail dose not Show on some Distance
