    Default preferences.txt

    Can anyonw tell me where the preferences.txt is in Windows 7 64bit?

    I have to get rid of the circles when soilders are highlighted! Which line do I edit once I find the file?

    Im brand new to this OS..

    The easiest way to get there is to run %appdata% - this is entered when you press the windows button, just put %appdata% in the place where it has 'Search programs and files'.

    If you do that you will still need to follow the path (the following screen shows the full path for me).
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 




    The line should be (this is the default):
    show_selection_markers true; # show_selection_markers <true|false>, Show the selection markers under the units #

    I forgot to mention that you need to make sure that there are no 'hidden files or folders'. It's a setting in the folder options.
