Today, more than 2000 romans have fallen defending Segesta (I´m on a new campaign while waiting for SPQR 6). The city is safe, but with a high cost. Decio Julio, the faction heir, is dead.
SALVE ROMA!

IM guessing that he rendered some clouds, then set the opacity or fixed the layer style to make the white.
BUt cool pic.
Why don’t presidents fight the war?
Why do they always send the poor?
Be well, Rome!?
heh. AVE Roma,
That means HAIL, ROME!
Nice picture, but I would have to say a little less blurring.

My bloodiest fight was 2700 vandals in 4 stacks attacking my city in Gual. I had a relief force of 2 generals, 2 cart mounted balista, and 180 heavy infantry, coming to the aid of the city garrison of 80 archers and 120 light infantry. My generals hit the vandal forces manning the battering ram at the gate from behind, causing them to abandon the ram in the middle of the gate, as they had already broken though. I brought my generals inside, and awaited the end. As the Vandal hoards streamed along the outside of my wall, the towers dropped a few of them, but the bulk of the enemy forces still reached the broken gate. Having the ram abandoned there limited their access so they could only come in a few men at a time. My ballista inside, as well as the flaming oil dropping on them caused units to panic and crowd out as other vandal units tried to crowd in. Once all vandal units had been forced to flee I sent my generals and ballista out to run them down, only to experience the same problem they had, when they turned back and mounted a second wave of attack. All told in the street fighting at the gate my I lost about 1/2 of my 600 men while costing the Vandals 2200 of their 2700.
