Hey, Im a newish follower of your mod and Im fascinated by classical greek history. I was wondering about the pronunciation of the ancient greek names. Ive sort of gathered that a C is an english K. But Im probably wrong. Could anyone help with a sort of key list and how to say them?

Right, I have an excellent book on this out of the Sackler Library right now, 'Vox Graeca' by W.S. Allen, which shows quite definitively that ancient Greek had a rather different pronunciation to modern Greek, and it explains how it was in fact spoken. I'm too tired right now and have too much work, but I may post some of his arguments in the morning.
