    Default difficulty levels

    Does anybody know what the official word is on AI bonuses? Do they only get bonuses on hard and above?

    From what Lusted has said, he AI gets bonuses on hard and above. But it also gets a sight penalty in Normal, supposedly because it's too strong

    Just speaking from experience, the Hard AI def gets bonuses. I played a mirror naval battle (exact same force commitment) but their ships had roughly 7 more men per crew on them, which allowed the AI to snatch the victory.
