    Download
    Latest version:
    For Adobe Photoshop 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, CS, CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5 & CS6.

    Old version:

    Background Info on plugins
    DDS-Import/Export
The NVIDIA DDS plug-in supports the DXTC texture compression format and allows you to open and save .dds files in RGB format. It reads and writes .dds files in compressed or uncompressed forms, provides support for per-MIP color fading, MIP-corrected normal mapping, and more.

    NVIDIA Normal Map filter
It creates normal maps from grayscale height maps. The filter UI provides a powerful 3D preview and a variety of filtering options. For MIP-mapped normal maps, the NormalMap Filter should be used for preview only, and then the grayscale map exported via the DDS plugin with "Normal Map Settings..." enabled. This will create a normal map with maximal detail and fidelity for all texture levels, without undesirable filter aliasing.

    Spoiler for Sample from M2TW

    Go download.

Ishan!, thanks for the tutorial, I´m struggling to get Adobe Photoshop working but my exp in skinning in MTWII is none, I have done some work at BI using GIMP but now I´m really lost, I hope you or someone can help me, it goes like this:
Having installed Adobe Photoshop CS5 with the 32bit dds plugin, I see the textures like you posted them, in blue, now since I´m trying to learn I can´t get around it it wouldn´t show the real colours, there are no layers on so I´m quite lost and I didn´t found anything that can help me, any clue?
