If people still don't know that xp only supports DX9 then either they live under a rock in the middle of no where and only come out to see total war news or they are ........(censored :p)....
This has been stated for years.
Also they will need a DX 10 or DX11 card and if they have one of those why aren't they running windows 7 64bit already.

The thing is, you get a computer, you know you need an OS. You find that OS, you install it and that's it for most people. I didn't even know about dx until a year ago after getting more and more into gaming and computers. People are not going to know about that stuff.

XP only supports DX9 for this game
Vista only supports DX9 and DX10 and Dx10.1 for this game
7 only supports DX9 and DX10 and DX10.1 and DX11 for this game
the OS is what makes what version of DX playable, its not the game.
