Unification of Spain?

Ok so this is a great mod and i was happily playing as Aragon in the 1450 campaign when lo and behold at the end of 30, i.e 1479AD, I LOSE!?!?!?!?!

I put in the fow cheat and see the world and find out that my previously flourishing Aragonian Trade Empire has all become part of the bastard Kingdom of Castille, who i was at war with.

It seems that spain has unified and i was on the other end of the stick if you will
There seems to be nothing that triggered this, just one turn i was independant, the next, i lose

Please help, i dont know if this was a bug or if your actually not supposed to play as Aragon in the late-late era, or maybe i missed a certain trigger that would unify spain for ME!!

Sorry though if this has been already asked and answered, but i used the search function to no avail...

I think you have to have eliminated Castile by that point or they will get the event in their favor every time.
