Total War: Shogun 2 Praise Thread

I probably won't get my copy or play it until this weekend to finish up midterms, so when you nerds pull yourselves away from the game, please share some positives and improvements!

Are assassination videos as epic as this?

The fact that I can play as the Takeda is good enough for praise alone!

good (i've barely played but..)

- AI is more agressive
- Gameplay demands more attention on management , unlike previous titles where you could raise armies and go berserk on first turns in conquering half the map...
- rpg elements are cool, making the game more personal
- graphics are cool (well will be more when we get AA, DX10-11, optimization for multicore......)

The game is actually quite optimized. I turned every graphics option to max and there is a bit of lag only on huge battles (15 k troops), i just can't wait for AA because i hate the goddamn jaggies.
As far as gameplay is concerned i can't praise it enough. AI is miles better than the older total war games, and the rpg elements are a really nice touch.
Now back to playing

well indeed it lags a bit but also because this still not even using DX10 and so far makes a poorly use of multi-core's.........
