Default Is Shogun 2 the first TW to use Steam?

I haven't kept up with the series since RTW. I'm wondering if anyones concerned over Steams anti-cheat abilities. And if cheating is going to be an issue in multiplayer battles?

No, ETW and NTW use it, and I believe Med2 and RTW can now be bought off steam.

And yes, cheating was an issue in MP in NTW, and they did say they were going to use Steam VAC (didn't go into specifics though).
