    a mod Idea for the mexican american war do you think it could be good? let me know what you think

    I think it can, but the CA map is missing a few Mexican territory that the Americans captured and There are many moders out there who can do it, but that' s not me...You just need to find the people

    Explore the word and conquer it all.

    yeah I know the map might be the biggest problem its kinda hard to alter that.Do you know any modders in particular that can?

    map cant be modded but if the campaign is made just for the warpath then you'd have 5 mexican territories, regular campaign has 2

    Yeah, the idea is good. Too bad Mexico only has 1 region proper, and this would seriously unbalance things. But maybe unit packs for Mexico and USA, that would be great. You could add it as a submod for the Blue&theGrey

    this war was more then 20 years before the civil war so i dont think its a good ideia to make it like a submod
    but the units from blue and gray will be just great for this mod

    im making my first sample unit.by the way do you know how do save a dds file I opened up the dds fille on photo shop(using pack file maneger) and edited then i clicked saved as and i overwrited the file but its still the same line infantry dds file when i open it back up help please?

    hm i have warpath but i would still need the rest for it to be the REAL mexican american war. Are you sure there is no possible way

    Yeap the campaign map is hardcoded, which it is impossible to add or edit territories, just starting positions can be edited.

    that's too bad though it might still work because most of the fighting took place near the gulf coast and further inland mexico

    I really want this mod or a mod for The Alamo... I just want someone to make proper texture for the Mexican army, I'm trying to recreate the Alamo and make a video and upload it to Youtube. I really need good textures as soon as possible. I have a faction unlocker mod and in that mod I have Mexico but the only problem is that they have their original "vanilla" skin from the campaign... and when I found the only Mexican texture mod that actually relates to the same textures of which like the Alamo that the Mexicans had, the new unit will show (English riflemen to be exact but not the new color just the vanilla one). Officerpuppy posted the mod for the Mexican linemen with the proper color and attire of the uniform but doesn't show for some reason.

    Hope someone could make some kind of Mexican mod soon!
