Thread: A humble question

    Default A humble question

    I have noticed that in BC the designers seem to have aimed at minimizing the unit interface as much as possible, unfortunately that leads to some problems. Namely, when battle breaks out I have no way whatsoever to tell which soldiers are mine or the enemies, not even when marked dose this green circle appear around the units to denote them as mine. Now, to each his own but I gotta ask, is there some way to disable that feature or reactivate the circles? I have to be able to see that it's my units when I've selected them, otherwise I can't fight.

    1. Open bc.cfg file (it's in the main M2TW directory) with a notepad tool.

    2. Find "disable_arrow_markers" entry:

    a) if it's there, set it to: "disable_arrow_markers = 0";

    b) if it's not there, find "[game]" section and paste this: "disable_arrow_markers = 0".

    3. Save the change and quit the file.

    4. Open its properties and set it to "Read Only". It may be "Read Only" already, so you will need to set it to editable file, enter changes, save, quit and then re-set it to "Read Only".
