Anyone else not impressed with the game?

Im not going to whinge or whine or whatever but I wondered if anyone else was a little disappointed in what they experinced in the demo?
I thought the demo itself was very well done, we got a lot of stuff just for the demo but the problems i had were:
There didnt seem to be any towns or castles
on the battle map you could double click on an area in the distance to instantly zoom there however this feature in shogun seems to have disappeared
I found the battlemap a bit slow and for some reason in the top left handcorner i couldnt move the map that way because the menu was in the way
also i miss the old total war style battlemap which was in the bottom left instead of the top right

plus sides though:
family tree is back and you can chose your own heir which is great
the music, jeff van dyck you are god
the video cut scenes are good and dont stutter like in ETW

Im just glad we're not the bioware forums, which are like 3 minutes from forming an armed rebellion after some guy got banned from playing his copy of dragon age 2 for snarky remarks.

I on the other hand LOVED what I saw in the demo, and will spend most of my time making the most epic assassins I can.

Play the original and bask in it's glory. The atmosphere and the feel cannot be recreated.

Okay I put not whine and whinge because it seems if anyone offers criticism or their own opinion, if it is negative, they get called a whiner. Im not typing "i hate this game, CA should burn in hell" ive played the demo and am giving my opinion and asking others what they think, if they thought the same or not and why.

The demo is there to give us a flavour of the game, its all very well saying wait till you play the game but im talking about the demo not the finished product however i dont see how they can be drastically different considering the short space of time left. And besides ive learnt from ETW NOT to wait and buy the full game to find out if its bad, i trust these forums more then CA and any gaming magazine that is why I think people putting their opinions, positive or negative, is good and healthy for the Total War series.

In regards to "nitpicking" they are just small issues that ive noticed, obviously i havent played the FULL game as this is just a demo, but the small issues add up and for some fans, its the little details that make a game. Again having an opinion on something is met by a very hostile reception on here.

Grimes, could you re-order your thoughts, I had a hard time following your post, what exactly was your point, what about the gameplay specifically did you not like?

Which post? The first or second one? On the first one I listed the points that I disliked, for one reason or another. And then, to show im not negative or a whiner, i put the positives i found in the game.

As for the second my grammar kind of trailed off towards the end lol but i basically was replying to those who said i was whinging and nitpicking
