Thread: Unit Textures and changes

    Icon5 Unit Textures and changes

First, thanks for a great mod. I've been playing 1547. Is that the only campaign featuring the japanese?

I've noticed a big difference between the, yuritomi(sp?) unit textures, and the textures for the samurai. I'd like the samurai, and those units with identical armor textures, to have the more clean, realistic textures of the yuritomi. What is the best way to do this? Are there other samurai skins out there?

Also, I want to make sure everything is installed Ok. The game is playing just fine, but certain voice files, and ui cards are from other factions. Is this just because the 1547 mod is a work in progress, or did I not install a patch correctly? THANKS YOU SO MUCH, ERAS CONQUEST TEAM.

Did I say something wrong? Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the dirt and grime 'cause i know how to change that.

The only other skins are for the All under the Heaven and Shizoku no Sensō mods. As neither have been released they probably won't let you use their units.

The Japanese units use the textures in the 'Medieval II Total War/mods/conquest/data/unit_models/_Units/samurai/textures' folder. I can't remember which one the Yumitori uses.

The voices are odd because the East Asian voices are a combination of the Mongol and Native American voices. The UI cards are from the mod Blue Lotus though I plan to replace them in the next patch.
