This is a great looking mod. Hope the map eventually gets completely cracked. This mod would then be epic with a fully integrated South America, Africa, East Asia, and South Pacific. Keep up the good work.

Looks great but why is the Soviet Flag in there?

It has no place in the Victorian era. Communist uprisings were impossible at that time and the Socialists were just successful in Russia because the German Kaiser supported them. It's the same as if you would be putting the Prussian state up with swastiskas. I bet none of your teammembers has grown up under the Soviet regime or really knows what it stood for. Apart from that, as I've said before, it's misplaced and never appeared in that timeframe. But, I'm trying not to get enraged by this, I will stay polite to this matter. Just lose the disgusting flag. It really makes me want to puke all over the keyboard.

This is just a game man, we aren't promoting any time of government or something like that, good or worst it did exist so we cannot pretend that it didn't. Hope you understand.

But since you've talked in that, I think that that flag is there by mistake since the mod ends in 1914 and that flag is form 1917.

I've took the Soviet flag from the preview, it was posted there by mistake since we will no be using it.

Additionally I've took the French revolutionary flag since there is no rebels in France as it's a capital.
France will be using the same flag for all governments.

Wouldnt it make sense to also have a liberal revolution flag to.
This is after all the age of liberalism

Well it can have a liberal revolution flag too, but I really can't see in what we could use it. France starts as a monarchy under Napoleon III control but when they changed to Republic they still using the same flag.

Liberalisn spread all over Europe.

In Switzerland you can still see the effects. (though unfortunatly you cant mod the ETW map)
The Dutch, Austro-Hungary, etc can have have a revolution as well

I see your point, the flags is back, more nations will have liberal flags.
I'm sorry for all this trouble related with the flags but I'm not in charge of them.

I noticed in the other preview thread (didnt want to ressurect it) but I noticed that you have Norway as a minor nation, but they weren't independent until 1905, shouldn't they be emergent?

Im not talking about changing the standard flags but having them as a revolution flag depending on the situation

I noticed in the other preview thread (didnt want to ressurect it) but I noticed that you have Norway as a minor nation, but they weren't independent until 1905, shouldn't they be emergent?

Norway is meant to be a Swedish protectorate.

It would be really nice if you guys seek the period of 1830-1870.

Reasons

1) 1830: Fall of the Charles X in France and Greece is liberated from the Ottomans
2) 1848: The Spring of Nations. The Downfall of the Absolute monarchies in Europe.
3) 1860-1870 : Process of German and Italian Unifications.

I think making the mod after 1870 would be a little bit too risky. You have many Technological and Weaponry advances and the tactics were different from the Napoleonic Era.

I'm glad that it just got there by accident. I suggest a blank red flag for russian revolutionaries. Maybe with the blue stripe from before. That would still show the socialistic workers' left wing without involving the historical event of 1917 and the forming of the Bolshevik party. I have a question regarding: From 1730 on until 1917 St. Peterburg was capital and center of power in Russia. Is that moddable? So in a way it will be one of the big recruitment centers and put Russia closer to the european conflicts.

I'm looking forward to this mod. I especially like the late timeframe and the setting of the map

Oh also also also, did i saw somewhere that the French revolution will have a red flag with the lillies turned upside down? On what account is that for? Was it any historical flag or you know... out of imagination?
