Where do all the Orcs live and sleep?
A bit much complaining for one post...

Firstly as you might recognized rams don´t take fire that fast in TATW, and if all your rams do so, then you simply need catapults or trebuchets.
Initially I planned huts, but abandoned it due to pragmatical (performance, space) and aesthetical reasons.
There is more than enough room to deploy a full stack orc-army, especially when the walls will be accessible.
For your concern where the orcs "live and sleep", they do so in the walls, those are big and thick enough for a whole binge. Heck, imagine they even have ways inside the walls leading into dungeons...

i guess the problem is not devils_advocates adaption of the movies, its the movies adaption of the books. i understand that minas ithil is supposed to look similar to minas tirith and that minas morgul is supposed to look like an evil, corrupted version of minas ithil. so in my opinion the problem is that the movie-minas morgul is just too small as it seems way smaller than the movie-minas tirith.

but when they made the movies, they built all these models so they did a lot of thinking what looks best while sticking to lore as much as possible. maybe they built a bigger minas morgul with lots of buildings inside and more layers (like minas tirith) and it looked crappy so they made it look like this. i think it looks awesome and if devils advocate says it works its enough for me too like the whole settlement.

and i guess its attached to a mountain so there might be city elements inside (caves) like at helms deep or minas tirith. dungeons are unlikely because of the water level.

Ah-maz-ing DA! Can't wait for this.

Okay, well technically I can, as Dragon Age 2 will be shipped to me tomorrow. That ought to keep me busy for another 3 - 4 weeks I'm guessing. Then, hopefully, I'll get to reclaim Minas Ithil for the glory of Gondor soon after! Really nice stuff man, sincerely.

Makes sense. From what I understand, Orcs are big fans of Ozark Trails campaing gear...cheap and reasonably durable for long expeditions.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Also, just thought DA's river/bridge concept can be used for Lake Town (with less mountains and more water of course ).
For orcs, I'd probably say they dwell in back walls and caves behind the fortress .
