That's an awesome map. Great job Devil's Advocate.
Well, not much other chance. The basics for the wall textures are from a few photos. The rest is from scratch.
The big outer gate is always opened, since the animation for settlement objects can´t be altered (yet). The inner gate (for the second ring) is a usual vanilla gate. Finally, units should be deployable on all walls.
You can´t use siege towers or ladders for anything either, only rams. The important thing to conquer this is the army composition, a force of merely cavalry is likely hopelessly lost.
Way cool! I was really looking forward to this settlement, good job on sticking it out and working through the various problems I have read in the past threads

fantastic, good job u all, next patch will be awesome
Those are good news +rep
really it deserves a big HOLY !
While I was watching pictures, the minas morgul theme from Lotr:rotk started to play in my brain )))
PS. By the way, is it two floor (or like 2 castles, smaller inside in bigger) like at this model? http://scrapbook.theonering.net/scra...468/view/13655
Wow that is fantastic!!!!! Like ultra mega awesomazingtastirific!!!
So it will be a bridge battle basically? It seems impossible to take with rams if archers are on the walls as they will just burn all the rams (one at a time) and route the units, at least when the first gate gets animations. Will you be adding shacks, orc pits, etc. inside? Or is there room? Seems like there isn't much space for fighting inside as it is. The map overall looks very nice, but feels very small. Where do all the Orcs live and sleep?

wow that really floored my jaw.
They often lived in wood shacks, animal (goats most likely) skin tents, or holes in the ground as far as I know. Tolkien describes well ordered Orc towns like this in Mordor when Frodo and Sam are there, book 6. Barad Dur has vast dungeons, the mountains around the Black Gate have many caves and holes which the Orcs issue out of. And we know Orcs and Goblins don't like Sun light so a hole in the ground or cave is preferable to them. Yes they sleep, even Elves sort of sleep. Gandalf sleeps too, anything alive must rest, and eat, and have shelter somehow and somewhere. Plus Numenorian's originally built the city, so they needed space for houses and such.

Great work DA, nothing to add ^^ .

Great acomplishment! This will be hardest settlement to conquer because of the bridge. It will be fun!
