62 views and no responses? Are they that bad? Or does no one care?

They look good, but you've got some alpha problems on the bottom of the tunic.

If they are for Republican legions they are a little off, they wouldnt wear pants or greaves.

Why not? Did those particluar styles come into play later, as in the imperial age?
BTW - Lt, are you planning on making your own special skin for the 1st cohorts?

Do you know how to fix that. Its real annoying but I am very new at skinning and have no idea how to correct that problem.

Yes it came later in the imperial age on what I mentioned. No on the first cohorts as It would require an individual mode for all 28 1st cohorts to be unique. And I only have 3 spaces left for new models. That is why alot of mods never added different legions in different areas, because we cant do it without using a model slot and while we have over 500 units in the unit file we can make, we only have 255 model slots in the model battle file.

ah - thanks for clearing that up Lt, what I meant was - rather than using the standard legionary skin for the first cohorts, what i did was to copy the model_battle entry for the legionaries and called it legionary_iii or some such then made the first cohorts all use that model. Just a thought simply to make the 1st cohorts a little different from the bread and butter troops.

With the alpha channel, only aplha out those bits that need to be removed. I suspect you are alphaing out a bit under the tunic part of the texture that is used to texture the bottom of the texture.

Depite the things that LT and Lusted pointed out, I think they are great.

Even if it is not 100% historically correct, I like the greaves.

    Good skins for historical fantasy.
