whenever i hear that the Paradox dev team are working on a new project, my heart skips a beat. i personally hope for a new Rome game. a Vicky 2 expansion or even a spin off would also be great, although project Glory sounds like a brand new game.

any expectations or wishes?

well they've got all other historical areas covered with new games, so i'm guessing it's rome 2. unless they decide to make a post ww2 game (which would be rather dull), or explore a completely different gender (like rpg's, or shooters or something like that) but that is highly unlikely.

I'd love to just see some dual core support in their games. Seriously. It needs to happen. But other than that, a Vicky 2 expansion would be nice.

a Vicky2 expansion that features local markets would make this underated game legendary. not to mention, Victoria 2 Glory fits perfect.

Admittedly when I think "glory" the first thing that comes to mind is not "local markets"

Yeah, I definitely think of military actions when I hear that word. But local markets would be a good addition to the game. Maybe add in some more resources or something.

Good news then... the new HOI3 expansion has multi core support so expect CK2 and glory to have it as well!

As for Project Glory... if they are brave enough to break way from the 'big four' (and I sincerely hope PI tries something brand new!) it will have to be the Dark Ages or Cold War? Is it too crazy to suggest another platform even...

I really want to see what it is. I'm truly new to the entire genre of Paradox games but they are awesome.

Johan said it'll be a completely new game, not a sequel nor an expansion.

assuming its not fantasy, i would say a modern day scenario, or a cold war, or pre Roman game although i cant see how they can creative get with it.

I would love a game like EU based around the ancient empires of the world...

or a crusades game but i don't see them doing that while they're doing CK2.

I kinda wish there was something that could fit between Rome and CK so modders could get to work on savegame converters and allow us to play a 2000+ year Campaign. (Imagine the AARS that would produce)
