In a seedy alley of Dublin...

A few hooded men stand in the alley. Each has a short sword at his waist and a longbow in his hand. A torch burns over a doorway, the only light in the murky street. Etched into the door is a symbol:



The guards await the arrival of those who are invited.

A quite old man with a most stoic countenance, sharp and piercing eyes and a slightly beaky and modestly formed nose arrives via carriage...

[Pendragon]

The guards search him of any weapons and open the door for him. He steps into an ornate library, with a circular table at its centre. Sitting in a chair at the table is a hooded man. He looks up, and removes the hood, long blonde hair falling out. Will Traveler stood to greet him.

"Welcome, William."

William nodded indifferently

I recieved thy letter. Now explain why you wrote it.

[Pendragon]

Will smiled again.

"Of course. Take a seat, please."

Will went to a table on the side and poured a goblet of wine, and handed it to the cleric.

"I know my letter was mysterious. I am going to rebuild an ancient Brotherhood, with the intent of destroying evil found in this land."

William accepted the wine and promtly took his seat...

What evil? I am not an avid supporter of superstitious organisations.

[Pendragon]

"No evil but that which rests in the hearts of men. Look around the nobility of the Kingdom. The freedmen as well. Greed, sloth, envy, all the capital sins in plain sight."

William nodded

The corruption and greed of the nobility of our realm is a well known fact, yes.

[Pendragon]

"Of course, it is these sins that keep the Kingdom running. Yet, in excess, they will be our downfall. I aim to eradicate them."

[Camelot]

And what do you think to do about it?

The man, emerging from the shadows, used in his childhood to the streets had avoided the guards and entered the building where he awaited an answer to his question. A letter held in his hand.

Will was not perturbed by the man's appearance. He simply turned and launched a throwing knife from his belt, shearing off a piece of the man's cloak.

"I will do whatever I deem necessary. Which may include your death."

[Carl von Döbeln]

"Of course, it is these sins that keep the Kingdom running. Yet, in excess, they will be our downfall. I aim to eradicate them."

'How?'

[Pendragon]

"Economics. Sabotage. Assassination if necessary. Not all legal, perhaps, but never will we harm an innocent person."

Richius watched the knife flash past.

Well, that was nice. You send me a mysterious letter then nearly kill me. I wonder what it is i have ever done to you? Tell me why i should stay?

Will turned to the man.

"You avoid my guards and try to enter the Library undetected? A foolish mistake you should not make again. I invited you here, and there is a door. You are lucky I didn't kill you, thinking an assassin had found the Library. I will forget your affront upon your word of never doing so again."

Rowan entered after his nap. The ride here with Will had tired him out.

[Pendragon]

"Welcome to the party, Rowan."

Will poured wine for each of the other guests and handed it to them.
