Default arrows more visible and permanent

I am not abble to do this, it's why I post that here: I find that arrows are not enough visible (even in ultra settings), something should be done to make them appear more clearly when they stick to the ground or bodies.
Besides, a big frustration for me is to see the arrows disapear after one or 2 minutes, can't we mod that to make them permanent, to keep them untill the end of the battle? Is there a sort of timer or a count of max arrows on the ground?

I think this is partly due to there being no anti aliasing in the game, since the arrows are so thin they need anti aliasing more than anything else.

yes I think that with AA, perhaps we will see the arrows better. But remains the problem of the arrows that disapear...

For the Medieval 2 total war mod Third Age Total War I remember their being a submod that made arrows permanent. So im sure its absolutely possible. If I remember correctly you just have to change the time on how long they show for
    You look great today.

yes, but if you look at the same place 2 minutes after, there is no arrow anymore.

perament arrows is really easy to make. you just change it in a txt file and set it to a really high number of seconds. but take in mind that it can slow your game really bad

Guys this is Shogun II not medieval, there are no "textfiles that we can open and change a simple line in" to do what we want. We will probably have to wait for the promised mod tool to do such things.
And by the way, I would not recommend that you use permanent arrows, that will be a HUGE performance hit. Almost every computer would start running slow even in M2:TW after about 2000 arrows had been shot:S (so I can't guess about Shogun II)

and what about 15000 thousands dead men on the field? It's what I have when I finish a battle, so I am sure my computer can handle that too.

For me, the permanent arrows would be more than worth the performance hit.

Funny, I'm sure my arrows are staying put - at least there were still four of them in some poor sod, when I went back later in the battle to look!

They stay there for a minute or two, nothing more. (on ultra settings)
