I believe the French (Under Napoleon) had a higher number of cannons since that was Napoleons old speciality.

Maybe more dragoons than most as well.

British would have armies based around line and light infantry, especially rifles. Cannons tended to be a lighter calibre and cavalry were mainly light dragoons and heavy dragoons, but not many, as British cavalry was notoriously bad in the period

    2-4 canons per 1000 men

    15% - 30% cavalry

very few rifles even for brits, rifles centered army... all armies were line based.

My advice read some historical orders of battle.

The disproportionately high ratio of cavalry at Waterloo is due to the reserve cavalry and guard cavalry being present with Napoleon's forces. If measured against the full Armee du Nord (including Grouchy's wing), the French normal establishment was 1/6 cavalry for expected open field, 1/10 for defiled- giving approx 80% infantry, 16% cavalry and 14% artillery train, cannoneers & extras.

This will give you a vague idea of approximate composition of Napoleon's corps.

In this mod, since a unit is battalion strength, I like to make divisions based on historical oobs, which can be found in the link Dunk Funk referred you to. I also include a 1-2 regiments of cavalry to fill out the rest of the slots. For instance the French at the Battle of Heilsberg, the 1st infantry division of the IVth corp was as follows:

    1st Infantry Division - GdD St.Hilaire (9,908 men)
    - - - - - Infantry Brigade - GdB de Candras
    - - - - - - - - - - 10th Light [2 btns.]
    - - - - - - - - - - 14th Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - Infantry Brigade - GdB Buget
    - - - - - - - - - - 22nd Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - - - - - - 36th Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - Infantry Brigade - GdB de Lorencez
    - - - - - - - - - - 43rd Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - - - - - - 55th Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - Artillery [2 foot batteries x 8 guns]

Add 3 squadrons of Hussars to portray a regiment of cav.

or using a real cav brigade alongside a real infantry division

2nd Infantry Division - GdD Verdier (6,239 men)
    - - - - - Infantry Brigade - GdB Harispe
    - - - - - - - - - - 3rd Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - - - - - - 72nd Line [2 btns.]
    - - - - - Infantry Brigade - GdB Vedel
    - - - - - - - - - - 2nd Light [1 btn.]
    - - - - - - - - - - 12th Light [2 btns.]
    - - - - - Artillery [2 foot batteries x 8 guns]

    - Dragoon Brigade - GdB Barthélemy
    - - - - - - - - - - 16th Dragoons [3 sq.]
    - - - - - - - - - - 21st Dragoons [3 sq.]
    - - - - - Artillery (1 horse battery of 6 guns)

This is a way I like to build my armies and I actually do better with these type of builds than I do trying to come up with a build myself.
