I think graphically the only things that look really out of place are the horses: not only are they oddly proportioned (as has been a whine on these forums for a while) but also they seem to be "patchy" coloured in weird ways - see the 4th from bottom in my post above.

Also, for me the units seemed just a little too shiny which distracted from the combat (which is very fast paced!)

Yeah ive been wondering about them too, are they actually balloons to lighten the weight of the rider?

They're silk "capes" that balooned out when they rode and got filled with air; the idea was to deflect arrows when they were riding, and it worked very well

Wow some of these screenshots are absolutely beautiful and this is just the demo! Imagine running the full game on max settings at super HD resolutions in 3D *drools*
