    So welcome him aboard, Dudes! Great work and ideas in my opinion, DV. Although I think Tinkerman might disagree (looots o' work). Anyhow, + when I'm able to. It's great to see enthusiasm and willingness to help the team.

    great work DobroVece!
    you are advancing very good. only thing i would like you to do is to import some real pictures, and put some oval metal borders, like vanilla has. it can be picture in the shield.

    what i meant by real pictures is something like this

    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    you can cut it, combine with some weapons and make icon for units. same goes for buildings.

    they are perfectly correct if we accept osprey (they follow the osprey descriptions and pictures to great details) as reliable. so as far as i'm concerned they are OK.
    one of helmets is Italian, but it wasn't rare that ottomans used captured equipment or imported weapons from the west (like from the Milano for example).

    Guesses is not exactly a good way to show them, Moorish style turbans, gambesons, italian helmets, where is the Ottoman stuff then ?

    Ok, yesterday I was in rush, and made that post pretty messy. I added more explaining text and a link with the files now. ^^^

    @Son
    Thanks dude. You are one supportive fella. Will + you back when I can bro.

    @phoenix
    Thanks.
    For the right panel buttons right? Basically you want me to do vanila style buttons. Then mouseover can be applied to active and scheduled version with no imperfectness. I can do that. But if using real pics, I would like to make something like peasant head for inactive, noble head for active and when mouseover it armors up like in your picture (this is form the top of my head, but you get the idea). I know that new sprites, even whole pages, can be added and their coordinates written in shared.sd.XML, level of transparency probably can be modded (so you can have a non-transparent mouseover), we only need to find out what to alter in order for game to use one sprite here, and other there.
    All this things can be discussed, I can make various set of buttons so you can decide which one you like, but I need to join. Why? Cause I'm working on someone else mod folder, and it's bothering me. Briarius gave me permission to do so, but this is work for Tsardoms, so I need your folder to work, try out and import my stuff. I'm also rather weak on history so I need good references so I can adjust my fork with time frame of the mod, so I need access to your sub forum.
    So, download this stuff, try it out, and contact me. In the meantime I will make those buttons that you asked. Hopefully, I can then start giving something back to this mod.

    Looks good! Although, the first variant, the one that shows when no settlement is selected, might have been slightly different. What I have in mind is, this icon was black and white in vanilla, which was rather intuitive for non clickable item, so maybe some resemblance with that feature could be preferred (assuming you didn't have this in mind when speaking of "dull" ).

    Maybe you can tweak it a bit so as to achieve something like what you did with that castle, that is, make it look like a drawing on the scroll, something like this (a bit darker, like with the castle drawing itself):
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Or simply go for black and white, which IS dull, so in that case, not this:
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    But rather this:

    Just some suggestions, you and The Dudes will decide, of course.

    Also, according to this:

    Phoenix expects some changes for construction button as well, right?

    great work milka canic
    me likes it . but it needs some changes, fixes etc.

    if you want, i can add you to the team, but you will have to do as we say, cause we plan variant of menus for factions f.e. islamic to have different than orthodox faction. and also, you must be ready on all critics and suggestions i can be sometimes very rude, but it's for the best of mod

    @Son
    That was a quick one (I need 2 hours for quick ones, go figure ), to show that I can deliver. Of course possible variations are countless. Here is one for you buddy, with desaturated part in inactive variant:

    'Drawn' one would require much more work, so I'll stop here, sorry.

    @phoenix
    I'll send you a PM. I have some weird feeling that I'm getting annoying.

    Excellent job DV +rep. Don't worry i don't think you're being annoying at all, in fact being proactive and having initiative is very appreciated in the team. And yes i can vouch for pheonix being a man who is 'harsh but fair' , he is always seeking the best of everything but he will be happy to guide you and help you.

    Looks great!

    Though the italian guy's armour and equipement aren't very accurate.
