A few new pics of the feudal knights. Notice anything different??? +Rep for whoever figures it out! (and NO, it's not as simple as new textures...)

Love the unit, I suggest to remove the blue on the helmet and make it silver/metal colored

No. They are french, so blue is welcome there.

Helmets being painted in color was actually quite realistic.
1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

"color was actually quite realistic. "
sure, as far I know, in France this painting was some expensive...its a very complex painting, composed principally of oil, mixed with mineral elements.
Obviously, every knight hadn't this fantaisy...

Frenchy, for the Montmorency's Family(very high french barons), you can mix their light yellow and their royal blue, for the Helmet.
One medieval illumination show all the Montmorency's Knights with painted cutted/early healme, I have it in my book, I shearch it on Internet...
I say that, if you will treat the early francilian knights...
    good continuation!!

Actually they're English. The blue knight is supposed to represent William Longspee, earl of Salisbury. Here's my inspiration: (check out the knight on the far right)

The lozenge's knight would fit also to the County of Angulèm in this case...

Are you using this as an example for early era? or upgraded feudal knights? Heraldry didnt become common untill the 1200, so if you are using these as an example for non upgraded knights, they would be very uncommon in the "early era",

But if you are using it after a 1200 date there is still something I dont like about the blue helmeted knights you made. Not that they dont look good, they do. Maybe there are just too many of them in the mix. Or they dont blend as well as the red helmet you made.

No criticizing, just giving you my opinion.
