    Default question about demo...

    I just played the demo and was very impressed. However, I would like to know: does anyone else seem to get lower performance than in traditional RTW? I have an AMD 3800+, Geforce 7800 GT, and 1 GB of RAM and was receiving choppy performance, specifically when I looked across the river in the historical battle featured in the demo. I also seemed to have higher overall choppiness which started at a lower threshold of #s of units.

    There was a memory leak problem that was solved in the 1.5/6 patch. Although we have only tested the demo in 1.3 we are told that it works in 1.5 too. I think you will need to install the demo over 1.5 though, not patch up to 1.5 after installing the demo.
