UPDATE: 2-19-11 FIXED ISSUE
I posted it onto file sonic for download just copy and paste it over your HE dragon prince texture file in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Call_of_Warhammer\data\unit_models\_units\warhammer\High_elf\model\attachmentsets
Everything is as it should be now, the HE bodyguards have their shields back and the HE Dragon Princes do too.
Long time lurker posting my first bug here;
- Name of your issue: Dragon Princes shields have incorrect difference maps relative to their normal maps resulting in bad textures.
- What faction, what unit(s)? High Elves Dragon Princes Unit
- Briefly describe the issue and add comments? Dragon Princes shields have incorrect difference maps relative to their normal maps resulting in bad textures. I did create a work around but didn't have the time to do a completely new Normal map and didn't have the original difference map since I couldn't find the exact same texture for the difference map. It's an easy fix just need to replace with the original correct diff map. I would be willing to do new diff and norm maps for the shields if required.
