Thread: Post your "Empires" here

    Default Post your "Empires" here

I did a quick search through the forum, and I didn't find any thread where one should post their campaigns, except the "campaign feedback" one, but I figured it was used for the likes of testing rather than campaign showing(?).

It seems as if there are not too many people playing this mod anymore(I'm a bit late to the field so to say), but perhaps there are some out there.

I'll get my campaign up here soon, altough I have not come very far yet, I'm still learning this wonderful mod.

Alright, I've got quite a few pictures, so do not open all the spoilers at once - I assume the page will either become very long, or it will lagg. Pictures description is within the spoiler too.

This is the first time playing this mod, so I started a campaign with M/M, I think I might have given up if it were on H/H as the first campaign.

P.S; the lack of pre-battle images and during battle images is because I'm pretty new to this, and I more often than not forget to take pictures . Using the free version of fraps by the way.

These picture are taken from my first battle on the Zombie island, I was truly caught by surprise when they showed up with a full stacked army during my third turn . As you can see, I had my wolven backside handed to me on a plate. This was also my first battle in this mod, I probably could've done something diffrent if I were to play it again.

Though their victory doesn't last for long, the very next turn I have my main army under the command of Lucian to retake the city and due to this little incident, I went on and took their island.

Following pictures are taken of my campaign map. As you can see, I'm currently invading the human faction. Naval warfare has kicked into high gear against the Severni(I think), as well as some defensive warfare(I don't want to fight two offensive wars at the same time) - although as of recent events, I've had two settlements "handed" to me through loyalist revolts(this was also the cause of war between us). Otherwise I would've tried to stay at settlements which are defendable.

I've recently started using horse archers for fun, I used a pretty lame tactic against a rebel force which I couldn't defeat in one go. I had my horse archers(4 units at the time) use all their arrows while keeping out of harms way, retreating and repeating. Though I only needed to do this twice, the third loss is the defeat at the hands of the Zombies.

I've got a decent economy for being a "barbarian" faction - but there is a chance that this will change due to the increased effort I'm putting in army strength now that my settlements have grown a bit.

The last picture came pretty much as a surprise to me, I was down to 1:3 in odds and I thought I would try to do as much damage as possible since I had the "fight to the death"-marker. The army sizes were pretty well matched, though the quality of their troops were obviously superior to mine according to the odds-machine. If their general falls, and one of their flanks gets disintigrated - then the routs starts pouring in.

Nice; we didn't get much of this kind of reporting so it's good to see the mod being enjoyed again..
