    Default movement modifier?

    Uh,... i was lookin for a way to change a speed of units on battlefield..and after some hours ... im bored to do. Maybe some1 has the same problem and may let me know how to change for ex. speed of a Spanish Mecenary unit in battle. I mean the speed wich is used only to move. Im lookin for a way to make my praetorian cohort move as fast as cavlary.
    I wiil be very happy to have unit such as.

    You have to edit movement animation.

    or change it across whole board by modding descr_battle_map_movement_modifiers

    Here take look at DMC movements. On the grass you want same values, otherwise the units will breakup. As they did in 6.0

    It looks like to heavy for me , then. Editing all animations is not too easy pitty. Otherwise, modifying all movement paramaters for all units does not change much. Cavlary unit will be still much faster then my cohort. Anyway thx for help.

    this is what i added in my rtw/data/descr_battle_map_movement_modifiers.txt

    grass_short 1.0
    grass_long 1.0
    sand 1.0
    rock 1.0
    forest_dense 0.75
    scrub_dense 1.0
    swamp 1.0
    mud 1.0
    mud_road 1.0
    stone_road 1.0
    water 0.6
    ice 0.5
    snow 0.75

    i used this from the 1.1 patch of rtw and it works for 1.2,1.2 made the fatigue too much!

    I can't find descr_battle_map_movement_modifiers.txt in bi/data, only in data.
    So is the file in data works for both Rome and BI ?

    yeh It is used for both as there was no need for the same file to be duplicated for BI

    What are the vanilla valuse? I'm looking to change it back to vanilla values in RTR.

    Sorry but got to ask. If you have RTW and it takes about 20 mins max to load why ask about what the original values were? Just reload and get on with it. Life is short

    I didn't even think about that. I have 1.0 clean, 1.2 clean, BI 1.6, and I'm here asking about the vanilla values. lol

    where is the file descr_battle_map_movement_modifier in the BI folder?

    how can i slow down the speed of units in the battle map of barbarian invasion?
