Default Medieval Romans armies around 1140 ad.

A unit roster for that era will be basically the Comnenean one with just few changes.
Things that we must always remember.
    Romans had to few archers.
They had few horsearchers but they still had some of their own.
After 1080 they used more and more mercenaries.
    Units like :
    Mourtatoi (infantry archers)
    Gasmouloi (latin crossbow militia)
    Varangian guard
    Alamanoi
    Vardariotae (magyar horse archers)
    Scithicon (steppe horsearchers)
    Latinikon
were all mercenaries in the emperor's service.
If the team would like to make some changes even to those units it could:
    Alamanoi

These guys could be actually two diferend units.
Alamanoi infantry could be based on them.

Alamanoi cavalry could simply be German knights.

The team could also create a "new" Latinikon with a combination of German knights and Italian or French ones if would deside to make Alamanoi infantry.

    Scithicon

Scithicon is a quite complicated unit.
Its suposed that those warriors could take care about their equipment of their own. But...not everyone of them was a noble or had heavy armor.
Cumans,Petzenegs,Turkomans both light and heavily armored must co exist in the same unit.

A combination of Rusichi models and some texture changes could givea desent and accurate Scithicon.

    Gasmuli

The basic idea behind Gasmuli is that the Italian trade comnunities-after 1030ad-had huge finansial interests in the east and middle meditaranean after the withdraw of the Roman trade fleet.
What we must not forget is that when a coastal city was under a raid the raiders did not care who is who or whos money they would stolen.
So the Italian comnunities asked the emperors permision to form trade militias. Afcourse the crossbow was the favorite militia weapon of the Italians. Those men were part of the ships guard and soon enough emperors saw a very usefull unit to help them guard the cities or be part of navy's crews. Many of those guys were born and lived all their life in the empire and only the heritage of their parents reminded them that they were foreigners.
Afcourse they baught their equipment by them selvs and usually prefaired equipment from their homeland.
They could look like this but witha sword and a crossbow.

    Latinikon

Latinikon (western knights) can be presented in varius ways (see my post for Alamanoi).
What we must not forget is that western knights started as "Norman" style but involved many times.
If the mod will expand after 1200 ad then the evolution can be presented via armor upgrade.
CBUR's already LATINIKON can be used as tier 1 and later the knights would follow these examples.
    English Noble

    German Knight.
In this picture nottice the open helmet (like some sergeants use in varius mods).

    German Knight of northern Italy

    French noble.

These knights are showing the armor style of a possible latinikon upgrade (like alamanoi tier1 in CBUR roster).

    To be continued soon.

TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.
