They made us watch this in History class. Our teacher (and I guess myself too) really felt sorry for the commander of the Bastille. Poor fellow didn't stand a chance..."Ils retirent les cannons" - "C'est pour les charger!"

The word 'unfortunately' means here that I am not very able to understand french I know a little bit but not enough to understand, for instance, this movie.
