Yeah, publications and all that seem to not know but Taleworlds mentions you explicitly every time someone fails to. Myself and all of my Mount and Blade friends know it was you guys who did the lion share for With Fire and Sword, and for that we offer a big thank you!

Careful though, with applause also comes the wrath of the very picky and loyal fanbase.

It looks like Fire & Sword ... remember this game is already released in Eastern Europe, we are just waiting for the English language release.

It's probably what you are waiting for. In the same day it was released in Poland - its full title is "Mount&Blade With Fire and Sword: Wild Steppes" (Wild Steppes is Polish name for Ukraine during that period). It seems that in Russia it was released with this "Great Battles" subtitle, because that's how it should be translated.

Just pre-purchased Fire and Sword off Steam. For the price, it's probably going to be a great game.

Heck, all M&B's have been great.

I have few more screenshots for you. I quickly attacked all factions armies (Russia, Crimea, Ukraine and Sweden) and fought small battles. Unfortunately to make a screenshot I had to press Ctrl and Insert, which is not very easy during battle. Maybe there's an option to assing only one key for making screenshots, but there is no option to change it in game options and I haven't looked in game files yet if there's such opportunity to do it. So please excuse me quality of those pictures (there's plenty of them, so I divided them into few parts).

Taleworlds is dubbed a developer, but we - SiCh studio - seem to deserve not a single word. Though 90% of the work was done by us. Seems unjust, doesn't it?

I guess they figure you folks at SiCh Studios do a good enough job of tooting your own horn
Plus the fact that Mount and Blade: With Fire and sword is just a mod with some funding behind it..
Give the team that works on Sword of Damocles or Prophecy of Pendor, or even 1866 a Mount and Blade western the funds and they would blow this hunk of crap out of the water.. Not that mount and Blade is a hunk of crap, but with Fire and Sword is a time frame that has been covered in many other games and is far from an original concept. It seems most people out there think that adding explosions and gunfire to a game makes it better. Here is an idea, why not add more content to Mount and Blade warband? Considering the Vanilla version of Mount and Blade is always garbage compared to some of the Mods fans release you would think this would be a perfect opportunity to show Taleworlds how to put a game together.
So i am not surprised Taleworlds doesn't talk much about Sich studios. There simply is not much worth mentioning.

If you are going to mention some great mods at least mention Brytenwalda as well ... wow I am having such a great time playing this one it has been keeping me busy while waiting for F&S.

I wish studios would pick some of this stuff up and flesh it out even more with their resources and insight into the game I have no problem with them doing that at all ... I wish Total War would contact the EB team before tackling RTW2.

Not sure at all what the above statement means. I just noticed someone crying that they were not getting credit, so i commented. Could care less if you found it "insult and humiliate"
Everything i said was true, it may have been a bit harsh. But it was nonetheless true.

It's a standalone expansion akin to Warband and Mount and Blade 2 (3 isn't even being thought about yet I don't think) is going to be developed by Taleworlds.

Is it me...or this game is just another mod for M&B. I have the felling that TaleWorlds is selling the same game all over again (was they did with the Warband "expansion").

Yes I would call it an expansion as well but it is the cost of an expansion ... plus if they want to stick with a good formula but are not allowed to do what modders have already done then that doesn't leave much room for improvement. The best thing is that the game is so wide open to modders out there that they can make just about anything within this framework so the possibilities are endless.

You can make this argument with every sequel game out there ...
