    Default Is it possible to script the collapse of a faction at the death of a specific character?

    Basically the question is in the title.

    Is it possible to set up a monitor which will activate on death of a character specified in the descr_strat?

    I know that the surrender_regions command could be used to kill the faction, but not sure if the monitor is possible. I was thinking about giving the character a trait that no other character can have and then monitoring that trait, would that work?

    its possible in alexander (if he dies game's over)
    this reads in alexander campaign folder inside descr_win_conditions.txt

    I would dare to say its some sort of default setting..but it seems this is the hadcoded part of th internal RTW script

    only scriptcheck I know of is

    monitor_event LeaderDestroyedFaction TrueCondition

    but it has to be the faction leader no matter what


    survivor may only work in alx.exe and we dont know if this is hardcoded...so its unclear if it could be another name and work in the same way
    a pity CA did not relased a new docudemon for alex. there may be a bunch of new script commands we dont know about

    I remember him getting family members in one of my games and then he died in a battle and game over

    You can give that guy a unique ancillary, and then check for WorldwideAncillaryExists.

    Thanks Aradan, that sounds as though it could be what I'm looking for.

    My idea is to have one or maybe a few influential key characters in each faction, and if they are killed then the faction will collapse. I hope this may make my mod less of a seige fest which I become bored with, and place more strategic importance on open battles. Character-centric rather than settlement-centric which I feel RTW can be.
