Some 8 months ago or so, the Video of the Month competition started. Since then, we have been gifted with some absolutely fanstastic videos across all the TW series. The competition has always been healthy with some excellent video makers competitors entering some of their most creative work around in the monthly competition. I, personally, would like to thank everyone who has competed in these competitions so far and hope it continues into 2011 and beyond!
- In 2010, we had 8 VOTM competitions. All the winning entries of each VOTM competition of 2010 are being automatically entered into the TWC Video of 2010 competition.
- The poll will last for two weeks
- The reward will be a VOTM point and the winning video being put into a TWC front page annoucement.
The cool thing about this comp and this field, is that each vid has its own unique strengths, and a few weaknesses (not many). If you picked one at random and it was the winner, you couldn't find a good argument why it shouldn't win over the others.
The same could also be said for some of the monthly vids that just got squeezed out. There were some amazing vids not on this list. A testament to how this community has grown, really

The first post doesn't say whose idea it is for this vid of the year competition, but congratulation to him/her/them (??).
Still too undecided to vote.
Was it your idea? Where did you suggest it? There were originally the semi-annual awards in the VOTM rules, but we forgot about that so we've changed it to a annual one, it was always intended to have a semi-annual or in this case annual competition since the original rules were first written all those months ago.
But seriously, If you really want to claim the credit for the 'Idea', I have no problem you having it sir.

Muh signature is so out of date all muh pictures died.
This is hard. Man, I think I will abstain from voting. At least until I pull myself together and decide who deserves to win most. I have three favourites and I can't betray any of them people!! I'm afraid this will take a lot of alcohol and pancakes.
I'll download all the videos and watch them on a large screen TV, because I have some problems to watch the videos on youtube in HD.
Although it's hard to choose, I think it is possible to form an opinion on objective criteria.
Example: - Compliance ratio - Quality Rendering Audible (music,effects,tone...) - Quality of cutting planes - Bugs Graphics - Visual quality of all
