    Welcome to Norway!

I checked through my model, there were quite a few vertex points that lit up with more then one. I'm fairly certain I've unwelded and combined all the UV's now... yet in game I still get the texture warp in the exact same spots. I guess there might be one vertex hiding in a corner somewhere...

EDIT: I just noticed that even after I separated the UV's that the vertice points are still lighting up across the map. Apparently I can't find Maya's equivalent of "unweld". Does anyone know how to unweld vertices in Maya?

EDIT AGAIN: Like a fool I just realized MS3D has an unweld option... so I did it there and it works just fine now. Thank you for pointing out the fix to that issue absinthia. I'm still quite baffled as to why Maya and 3DS do not seem to have an unweld vertex option. I guess lesser programs like MS3D still outshine bigger ones at times.

The Capital of Hyrule will indeed be a city for the Hylians.

As for the next model.... close... Gohma Larva was next on my list:

By welding and unwelding again you mean detaching the different parts and attaching them again to one object or detaching the vertices between the joints and weld them again?

Do you have a list of what units your going to have for some factions?

What is the campaign you are planning to do first, Hylian civil war or your fan-fic scenario? Because Hilian Civil war would have less factions I think, thus easier to make.

I think he meant will Castle Town be a custom made settlement, like Minus Tirith in TATW.

I have a list of units I plan on so far on the first post. As for a campaign I think I'm just going to make a generalized one like the Grand Campaign or a game of Civilization where it's mostly free form and your goal is to defeat a faction that is a rival to yours. (For instance the Kingdom of Hyrule would have to destroy the Gerudo and the Kokiri would have to destroy the Gohma). After a base game is done like that I figure I'd go into more specific and detailed campaigns like those in the Kingdom expansion pack.

Castle town for sure will be the starting city, I just am not sure if I'll have a specific name for it yet.

Okay first of all absolutely great work. You are very skilled and dedicated. I could never do something like this. Also doing it on zelda is a good idea. in fact this might make me interested enough to find an emulator and actually play zelda (im afraid i missed it, which i doubt is a smart thing to say on here ).

Youre making great progress and if i have any suggestions it is that maybe you should try and make a proper team. You already have a few people helping you but because of the massive task you've set yourself imho it would be good to have a few good modders and such working with you, especially some who have done some modding on medi 2 already as that seems to be your biggest challenge (getting used to the engine and whatever).

Also i think you misunderstood Melfices question:

Out off interest will Hyrule (the city) be a custom settlement.
What i think he was asking will you be making the settlement? So that it is not just a generic settlement but so that you will be fighting in hyrule itself, not just a city named hyrule. Maybe this link will help you understand better

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=409073

(of course its always possible that i misunderstood him too and am jsut making a massive arse of myself )

Hehe, I hiiiighly recommend playing the two Zelda games that appeared on the Nintendo 64: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Everything after that point has generally been downhill (though there are a few games that came after that are decent in my opinion).

I suppose I'd not mind getting a team together... I've just had very bad experiences in the past with making teams (the main issue is other people getting bored or tired of working on the project until they slowly vanish). I tend to find that the slow process of doing everything myself usually gets things done quicker then trying to keep everyone in contact and motivated to keep working. If anyone would like tp prove me wrong and hope on board though that would be epic.

Great work, it has fully payed off to finally check this thread!

I have always liked playing the games, and your work is looking very promising, so I think you'll definitely do the games justice.
