    I'm having a minor issue with the mod. Whenever I start a campaign, I've noticed that the specific general characters (Zelda and Rauru) are just generic looking soldiers on the battlefield. From the youtube videos I've watched, this shouldn't be the case. I own a Steam copy of Medieval 2 and Kingdoms, running on Window 7 64 bit. I installed the Core files, 1.1, and 1.2 files in that order and used the Kingdoms app launcher to run the mod. What am I missing?

    Just get back on topic now, and the ninja will NOT be harmed!

    Or, heck, make a new topic! Pertaining to H:TW, of course.

    Steam should keep the vanilla game updated for you. Just make sure you download the kingdom launcher app and follow the installation instructions in the "Releases" thread. You require Medieval II and the Kingdoms expansion to run the mod. For the mod to work properly, install the core files, the main installation (currently version 1.1), and the patch. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or anyone else on these forums.

    @EmptySvante

    Yep, that one has been listed. Hyrule Castle is not complete and should not have even been in the mod yet. The fact that Hyrule Castle was there is the bug. For a full list of bugs, go to the Bug Center under the Bugs/Technical Issues subforum. If you find any bugs that are not listed there, let me know. Here's the link if you need it. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=549558

    I'm sorry if I've missed it but I have never seen anything involving it. Does this mod have multiplayer?

    You can play multiplayer with anyone else who has the same version of the mod as you in the same way you play multiplayer in the vanilla game.

    Okay, thanks. I've already ordered Medieval 2 and Kingdoms but they haven't arrived yet, so I was wondering.

    Actually, you can. They are just very out-of-the-way. You can only recruit Helmasaur Riders and Tree-Hoppers from Cities. Castles cannot recruit them. However, the villages in Lizalfos territory are bugged at the moment. This means that you cannot upgrade them into a city large enough to recruit Helmasaurs and Tree-Hoppers without using the workaround (convert to castle, then convert back to city, then upgrade). Use the workaround, upgrade a Village to city large enough to support Helmasaurs, then build the barracks of that respective level. There, you have them. Obviously this is a pain for a player to do. On the other hand, I have seen AIs do it and the high level barracks for the city does have Helmasaurs and Tree Hoppers listed as recruitable units. The are available, just unreasonably difficult to get until the bugs are sorted out.

    Hey, so I am not sure if it has been brought up yet, and if it has, then my bad. I have been looking forward to this for a while, and I am psyched it has come out. Most of the bugs have been presented I assume, and I haven't found any that are too significant for me yet, but I am more focused on dynamics in the campaign. I have played nearly every faction at this point, and I have noticed that one in particular stands out as being as I believe much too easy and out of balance. I find that the Gohma in my opinion are a too strong by a great shot. I had my friends play it as well, and it has resulted the same way every time, if it is left to the AI to figure out, there won't be enough time to get grand alliances going and the Gohma will almost always become the largest and strongest. I am hoping to see a much better balance system on them specifically.

    The game is far from completed. The unit roster itself is not even final at the moment. Rebalancing is low priority until the game is near its final stages. Due to the fact that each race is very unique with far different gameplays than you will see in the vanilla game, attempting to rebalance the game before all units are in the game will be nearly impossible, as any new units will offset the balance. To keep records of balancing issues so that the game may be improved in the long run, The Holy Pilgrim has a balance thread. Feel free to contribute to this thread at any time to thoroughly discuss any issue. Also note that, for the Gohma inparticular, they are supposed to be a large and powerful faction. They are the Zerg or Tyranids of Hyrule so to speak. I typically play as Kokiri, who is the rival faction of the Gohma. I am still able to defeat them, as Kokiri and Gohma were made to fight one another and each race and counters for the other. Again, unit rebalancing is low priority until all units, agents, and abilities are in the game and the campaign map is at its finest. Please refer to The Holy Pilgrim's balance thread until then. Here is the link. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=550267
