Chapter 7 - Great defeat and a grater Revenge

After the liberation of Bonnonia we wanted to capture Segesta, but there was a great Romani army, so we deceided to conquer Arretium, the second largest city of the Republic, counting about 130 000 men. I decided to march towards the city with my experienced 7 500 wariors. Near the city was a small Romani army, counting about 2 800 men, but army from the city, which had about 4 100 men helped them. But it was too easy for our men. Iaosatae were again heroes. Infantry was ordered a frontal attack and Belenos and I, as usual crushed their flanks. Only 30 Romani survived, but that was surely not enough to defend Arretium.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

And then... The greatest sack of one Romani city, after the sack of Rome 130 years ago, under the leadership of our ancestor, Brennos, begun. Our wariors looted the city for whole five days. We have exterminated or killed aproximately 100 000 foolish Romani! Brennos would be happy and proud if he could see this.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We gained 15 000 mnai from looting and destroying plenty of buildings in the city. We destroyed their stupid baracks, temple of some fool Jupiter, their goverment building, and very improtant their awful blacksmith. I took one "gladius", some stupid Romani sword and decided to practice a bit with my brother. But when he first time hit my sword with his, "gladius" broke! So I decided to burn the blacksmith and all Romani who were making "swords". We used that money for development of our infrastructure in Gaul.
After that we stayed in Arretium for two weeks. Some Gauls from Segesta told us they desperately needed our help to crush the Romani, who have been ruling our cousins like they are slaves for 8 years. They reported there are about 1 800 Romani. I attacked the town with my 8 500 wariors, including 800 Peltastai I hired. We had only 2 500 infantrymen, but I believed we won't need more to defeat 1 600 Romani. But I noticed there were only 2 000 mercenaries, what was very unusual for this area. However we attacked and our spy managed to open the gates. And then we were absolutely shocked! There were another 18 000 Romani. It was 8 500 against 20 000, including Romani leader and 16 000 infantry. 15 000 their soldiers were mercenaries!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

But Gauls never run! We fought for our brothers, for our freedom, for our honour! But it wasn't enough. Romani had nearly 3 times more men and 7 times more infantry. Our Iaosatae could not save the day. Romani attacked our infantry line and our cavalary, including me, Belenos and 800 Leuc Epos tried to flank the Romani. But we couldn't... So we let our infantry fight as much as they can and tried to protect the Iaosatae and other missiles. Romani ruler, called Avgvsts, whatever that means already attacked them and us, two brother angrily attacked that rubbuish and bloodthirsty slain him. But it could not change anything. Our men were crushed, but Belenos and I fought like lions and with our 400 cavalrymen killed another 2 000 Romani. But when we saw this lead to nowhere, and we can only die, we decided to retreat, cursing Romani and promising them the blood Revenge! Only 860 Gauls survived the battle, but also 6 000 Romani were dead.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We were in a very bad situation after that. But we were not done! Now when we had support of all Gallic tribes from Gaul, thousands of angry Gauls begun their march towards Southern Gaul (formerly called Cisalpine Gaul) in order to revenge their brothers. Also, about 4 000 men moved out of Massalia. Amminos marched towars Mediolanum just afted 800 Hoplitai were recruited to guard Massalia. But despite everything, Romani had a great advantage. They tried to use it. Their army that had 14 000, under the command of a stupid Romani commander, adopted by the now dead Avgvsts beseiged Mediolanum, where there were only 1 600 wariors. Their smaller, but high quality army attacked Arretium. Our reinforcements came from Bonnonia and we utterly crushed the beseiging army. For that time, our brothers were heading towards Mediolanum. And Romani were still building rams. Belenos and I first moved to Bonnonia, so we could react if either Mediolanum or Arretium are attacked. After two weeks Romani attacked Arretium, and reinforcements were nearly after Mediolanum. Belenos and I made an agreement: I marched towards Mediolanum to join our men from Gaul and he was about to crush the siege of Arretium with the help of the troops from Bonnonia. I joined our powerful and brave army. Wariors were eager for the battle and couldn't wait to kill as many Romani as possible. Our army had about 12 500 men and the Romani had about 2 000 more, what was nothing when compared with Segesta.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

First, three armies merged into one. We marched towards the forest and tried to lure the Romani to attack us where the visibility was better. Iaosatae started to throw stones on them. Romani attacked them few times, but they ecaped and Romani didn't dare to attack our infantry.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Our men could not wait any more, they were angrier and angrier every second and they ran towards forest in order to destroy cowards under the flag of Romani. But our line wasn't equivalent with their, so they had a great advantage on our right flank. I decided to anull that using Iaosatae as a light infantry. They helped our line to hold a lot. And than my favourite part: I attacked Romani from behind with our Cuer Epos, hired by my brother Amminos, who could not come in time to fight. Romani started to rout, unit per unit. Their commander ran away in the early phase of battle.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Soon all of them were trying to escape, but we had no mercy. We were hunting them until the sunset, despite the fact we were very tired. I wanted to kill every single Roman that fought against us after Segesta, but I knew that will have to wait for few weeks or maybe months.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The final result was good - only 1 800 from 14 000 Romani survived, but also 5 500 fearless Gauls and Greeks were dead. But most important - we revenged our brothers!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

For that time, Belenos attacked Romani who had 1 650 elite Allies forces and 820 Principes and utterly crushed them, thanks to the brave Lugoae and his well-timed attacks behind the Romani lines. Belenos also did his best to hunt as many cowards as possible. It was an excellent victory, but it cost the life of 600 Gauls. The better part is 2 200 Romani were dead.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

And than his army had an easier task - they had to defeat a weaker Romani army, and they were also reinforced by Motios, a charismatic and optimistic Carnute I adopted after the liberation of Bonnonia. Iaosatae, hired by Motios and those Belenos led killed 600 Hastati, so left flank easily fell after cavalry attack from behind. After them, Principes were destroyed in the same manner and at last Italic Allies. Arretium was defended. Citizens, including Peltastai and Sotaroas whom I disbanded before were quite happy, as Romani made only 30% of popularity in this city, others were Gauls, Greeks and some Carthaginians.

Now situation is pretty good. Main Romani army is destroyed and our way to Segesta is clear.
But, something worries me:after the loss of their land in Italy, Epeiros made a ceasfire with the Romani.
Good news is there are few more children in our family, and our men are getting more and more succesfull in administration and trade.

I placed the errors I found in bold and corrected them. Mostly just some typos and a few grammar inconsistencies. Hope you don't take it the wrong way it's just that small errors can disturb the flow of a story. Anyways keep up this nice story

Chapter 8 - Hunting the Romani

After the battle near Mediolanum, some of our wariors returned to Gaul to bring more men to fight, some went to Massalia to call the Greeks to help us, but most of our men stayed in Southern Gaul. Half of them went with me southwards and other half stayed in Mediolanum, so they can be given more men. My brother Amminos was already at the Romani teritory, waiting for me. We decided to stay in one forest near Segesta and wait for a chance to attack the Romani and liberate Segesta. After two months, opportunity appeared and we didn't want to miss it. Our 10 000 wariors were about to face 8 000 Romani, separated into three armies. Chances were equal. but our wariors still wanted to kill every single Roman that killed any Gaul near Segesta!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

First, we attacked their army from the settlement and easily destroyed it. Iaosatae damaged them and Rorari routed just after they faced the angry Bataroas. Amminos crushed Italic allies from behind and I did the same thing to Triari. Then we marched uphill to kill the rest of Romani.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Their army didn't attack at the same time, but unit per unit. It was way too easy for our wariors. Later, they managed to organise a well timed attack, but it was all over when Lugoae, called Aneirin killed stupid Romani commander. Then we were hunting them trough the forest for the next few hours.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The result of our efforts was very clear and visible. We exterminated nearly whole Romani army, only 320 of them ran away. Also, 1 200 Gauls and Greeks were dead.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Segesta was finaly free and we celebrated it with our brothers. But before that I crushed a Romani that were in a forest near the city. I was very easy and took me just 20 minutes. Then I returned to Segesta. In Segesta, our men asked me to burn somewhat place, called Forum (whatever that means), where Romani met and where was a statue Romulus. Of course, I agreed. We also destroyed their government building. blacksmith, shrine to Vesta, circvs and their stupid baracks - everything that foolish Romani built.

Romani besieged Arretium only few weeks later. We had to act quickly, as forces in Arretium were not enough to defeat the Romani. So, Belenos marched out of Bonnonia, with 2 400 Lugoae and 600 Iaosatae in order to defeat a Romani who were between Bonnonia and Arretium. Romani had 600 slingers, and per 800 Hastati and Triari. Iaosatae killed all Romani slingers with only 30 wariors died. Lugoae attacked Romani line and Iaosatae flanked Hastati. Belenos attacked Romani from behind few times and it was all over in about 30 minutes.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

There was no time to lose, so Belenos marched towards Arretium after two hours of rest. I joined his army with around 150 Cuer Epos and we were ready to send the Romani to join their Avgvsts! We heavily outnumbered them – 8 000 against 4 500.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We didn’t want to lose more men than we must from the city, so our army attacked Romani without waiting for the reinforcements. Lugoae again held the line and I crushed the enemy cavalry. After that Belenos and I constantly attacked the Romani line from behind and they gave up after an hour. Then we hunted them for the next two hours and very few of them ran away. We lost 1 500 wariors and only 300 Romani weren’t dead.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    Known territories:

There are no more Romani armies in our lands and we can finaly rest for a while. NowI must go to Cenabum with all members of our royal family, as the Ogmioteriam Odemorix (Great Gallic Council) is about to be held in two weeks.

Romani strengh has fell very low now, and I think they are no longer a threat. I will not attack any faction UNLESS they attack me first

    Chapter 9 - Ogmioteriam Odemorix

After ten days, all members of our family arrived to Cenabum. Soonely, it was about to be held first Ogmioteriam Odemorix after the one nearly 35 years ago when Gauls made an agreement about an invasion on Hellas. But now the situation is really different. Now Druids and Tribes leaders will all gather here to formalize the Unification of the Gauls!

I spent few days before Ogmioteriam Odemorix talking to my brothers and adopted sons about events in previous years. It was a very exciting time with many great battles won and enemies defeated. But even more glorious years were about to come. We were sure about that!

Ogmioteriam Odemorix coincided with the day of Belenos, important Gallic God, so there were many celebrations in Cenabum in his honour. And after we finished with the formal part of festival, with people watching us, this very important event started.

First, Tarbelli representative told us about the pirats that have blockaded their ports for about 7-8 years and were also making the sea trade imposible. But their blockade stopped. He told us about great diplomatic ability of our nobleman, Cerethreos moc Messianuroc which someway managed to make an agreement with the pirats, despite he had no fleet or ability to build some.

Tarbeli representative, called Meriadoc, presented us Cerethreos as a truly great leader. They said he is remarkably sharp, enegetic and very good nature Biturge which really understands the situation in Burdigala. Also, they mentioned he is very practical, healthy and a devout worshiper of Epona, which knows a lot of rhymes and makes a converstation much funnier. He improved infrastructure in Burdigala, establishing Arverni King government, he built roads and sanatizated the land. Thanks to him, Burdigala became a very important sea trade city, trading mostly with Darioritum and Casse.

A honest Bellovaci whose name was Ambiorix said Motios is a true politician. He wasn't very smart or loyal, but instead of that charismatic and optimistic leader. He trully hated Rebels and was a very responsible husband - he had two daughters and one son. He was cultured, wealthy and very friendly with the Bellovaci and welcomed the strangers with opened hands. Also, Bellovaci were very happy under his rule. Aristocratic government has been established, so Motios had a wise advisors, and roads have been built. Bratosporios became invaluvable as a trading city, as they traded with Camulosadae to the utmost.

A young Veneti warior, Lugotorix, appreciatited us for the liberation and claimed happiness of his people under the Arverni King rule. He informed us that the lands around Darioritum have been cleared, roads and granary built and farms upgraded, thanks to our investment. He was happy to notice Darioritum gets a lot of foreign products, especially from the Casse lands and also exports plenty of their own.

Slightly older Lemovici, Eporedorix, constanted that his homeland is simply fluorishing under the Arverni King rule. Land and coast have been cleared, and prepared for further works. Also, as he said, granary and roads have been built and Lemovici traded a lot with Tarbelli, Veneti, and of course Casse.

Volcae representative, Vindex, constanted happieness of his people under the Arverni King. He was pleased to not roads have been built and trade advanced a lot. City, as he commented, now traded with Mastia, Carthaginian colony and also Massalia and few more cities in Gaul and Southern Gaul.

Greek from Massalia, called Kleomenes, commented that Gauls and Greeks became like brothers trough the last years and Gauls did a lot to help Massalia to develop into a trully important trading city. They were free to choose their own leader and to change him every five years. Kleomenes was happy that lands have been cleared in and around Massalia and the Greek wariors played an important role in the war against the Romani. Also, he was happy to see Gallic leaders financied the great festivals in his city, establishing Feast of the Tribe in Massalia.

Then Allbroge, called Rianorix, claimed the happienes of his tribe, as the Arverni noblemen payed much attention to the city of Viennos and the province. City traded with all its neighoors and gained a lot of money from it, commented Rianorix and added that the infrastructure has been widely improved, with roads and granary built, Feast of the Tribe and Field of the Games established. Also, by his words, land has been sanatized and Allborges are happy under the rule of Arverni King, because, after all they belong to the Arverni tribe.

After him, a very educated Biturge, Voteporix, which was very happy, just like his people, as city advanced a lot, since the liberation. It was, as he constanted, an important land trade city, as it was in the very Central Gaul. Also, said Voteporix Arverns did a lot to improve the infrastructure of the cit: after an establishment of Arverni Kig rule, roads, granary and river port have been built, with the land sanatized.

Our host, Carnute wariror, called Vellocatus, thanked the all representatives for coming. He also thanked us in the name of his people for everything we done for them, including allowing the previouns government that was instituted by the Aedui to continue to govern the city, as they shown they are very good traders and administrators. Also, he added his tribe is very happy with the amount of goods that have been imported and exported to other tribes, but just after the Arverni noblemen made an agreement with the pirats, similar to those whom blocaded the port of Burdigala. Vellocatus also reported us that our noblemen, helped by all other nobles which have already been in the government financied the buiding of roads, granary, soap market with establishing of a Feast of the Tribe.

Wise Aedui, Dumnorix, thanked us for the liberation of Bibracte, but also keeping of the previouns government, which was much more capable than the fool that called himself King of the Aedui. He said that, from that time, plenty of new buildings have been built in his homeland, including roads, river port, Field of Games, granary and Feast of the Tribe established and the land itself cleared.

Sequani, called Lucco, said that his people is very happy to have a leader like Galba moc Catuvoloc. He described him like an itellingent and optimistic, but a little selfish Brannovici whis was quite young and very healthy man. Also, he said, he was a calm man and a devout worshiper of Teutatis, but also a responsible husband which had one daughter. He was a bit sad because his tribe didn't have much abilities to trade, but, as he said, that is because they border with plenty of wild German tribes. He was happy to notice Aristocratic government built roads, cleared land, established Feast of the Tribe and there was also an educated healer.

Arvern, called Celtilos, thanked all the representatives for kind words and claimed the great happienes of the Arverni with the current situation. He said that the city of Gergovia has been flourishing last years. He claimed the statisfaction of his tribe to be under the government of the Allobroge called Goteyrn moc Convictolitavus for which he said is very friendly, positive, charismatic, but also beloved man in Gergovia. Also, he added that Gegovia became much more advanced city from the beginning of Aneirins reign, with roads and Field of Games built and land sanatized and Feast of the Tribe established.

Teutomatos, a fearless Insurbe, declared the happienes of his tribe, as we liberated them from the Traitors, but let them keep the members of the former government for which they think are worthy of that postion. He told us very things about Motios oi Mim, Carnute that was governor of Mediolanum and financied the builing of roads. He said Motios is a positive man, which is also charismatic, but quite disloyal. However, people liked him and respected him, too, as he inspired trade in this area and Mediolanum became a very important city in this area.

Boii from Bonnonia, Vercassivelaunos, was very happy as Boii have been given autonomy and such a grat like Belenos oi Lugos, which was Osi. He said he is a great man and warior - calm, devout, expirienced, buisnessman - true leader, which also had a son and heir. He financied the clearing of a water around Bonnonia and also building of roads, as he said.

Liguric warior, Litavic, thanked us for the liberation from the Romani and a kind rule of our aristocracy. He said our noble, Amminos oi Lugos is a very good man indeed, but very tired at this time. Also, he said this Arvern is a devout worshiper of Lugos and a succesfull administrator and trader which throws many great feasts for his people, but of course, like an every Gaul fearless warior. He was happy to see Segesta free and important city for our trade.

All of them had something to say about me. I was very suprised with their comments! I expected them to be positive but this was something special! I quote their combined comments:
"Adcobrovatos is a great man and a warior. He isn't very intelligent but he is much cleverer than those which call themself "intelligent". Instead of that, he is very charismatic, energetic, loyal, but also unselfish and optimistic. He is s succesfull politician, great leader, and a first son of Aneirin oi Lugos, great King of the Arverni, which died after the liberation of Massalia.Adcobrovatos is an expirienced warior, great tactician and a true unifier of Gauls! Also, he is calm, rational, healthy and uses spies excellent, but most important is the fact he is Gallic Chapmpion, incredibly brave warior! He should become King of Gauls!"
    I was extremly proud!

After that, the Druids spoke. They decided to elect me to be the first King of Gauls! Also they declared my brother, Amminos as my heir. According to their advice, we decided to count years from the beginning of my fathers reign. Druids also elected Kondomos moc Estes to be King of Etruria. He was a smart and charismatic Bituge, but didn't like to smile very much. He was very good choice gor that position.

Druids also constanted we need to fortify our cities which will soonely border with Sweboz and later those that are closest to Iberia. They pointed us need to liberate Helveti and as much Gallic tribes in the coming years, but also destroy the Romani. We have agreed not to attack any foreign people uless they attack us firs. We agreed to build as many trading and river ports, as possible, so we can increase our trade income to the utmost. Than the most important Druid, Guttuart, put the crown, once worn by Brennos, 130 years ago, on my head. Gauls finally got a King!! Gergovia was choosen to be the Gallic capital!

With that the most important part of our meeting was over. All the Gauls happily celebrated and competed in all kind of sports and that evening was the great feast! I was unbelivably happy. My and my fathers dream became truth.

GAULS HAVE BEEN UNITED UNDER A KING!

Chapter 10 – Fall of Ariminum

Next week all of us begun march towards their regions. I went to Bonnonia, together with Belenos and we decided to collect forces in this city, in order to launch an offense towards the Romani. But those stubborn fools tried to “liberate” Arretium. Amminos sent reinforcements from Segesta, and, after they saw how much larger our army is, they ran away. Meanwhile, Belenos got his second child. This time it was a beautiful girl called Mynne. We established an alliance with Saba, mystic, but friendly people. Pirate fleets became a big problem for Celts – this time they blocked the port of Camulosadae, capital of the Casse. Another pirates, Romani, blockaded our port of Bonnonia. I was very angry and wanted a revenge! So, I took my 8 000 wariors with me towards Ariminum, and Belenos stayed in Bonnonia to wait for the reinforcements.
Romani had a bit less men, around 7 800, together with the reinforcements from the city. But the bravery was on our side, just like the Gods.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We didn’t attack their weaker army (which had only 1 300 men) but the stronger one, counting about 6 500. Our infantry lines met and it was a very hard battle first half an hour. But then I flanked the Romani small forces that was far away from the true battle, and with that enabled our Lugoae, that fought against that Romani unit, to increase the pressure on the right flank. And then I spotted the Romani commander and angrily attacked him. After two sword strokes, he was dead. After that the Romani immediately started to panic and our warriors utterly crushed their lines. Unfortunately, about 1 400 of them managed to run away, but also 2 000 brave Gauls were dead.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Romani however, didn’t stay safe for long. Our experienced spy, Conan oi Rugos , managed to open the gates and another battle begun. Our warriors, including Caturiges, Lugoae, Iaosatae, Leuc Epos and Gaesatae heavily outnumbered Greeks and Iliric spearmen that were defending the city. Our Iaosatae easily crushed the Greek Akontistai, and with my help, Hoplitai Haploi. After seeing countless Gallic warriors, about 250 Ilirians surrendered.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

After our victory, we ruthlessly plundered the city for two days, killing or selling in slavery about 55 000 foolish Romani, so now they comprised 50 percent of the population of the city population. Other half was consisted of mostly Greeks, Carthaginians and about 10% Gauls. Also, we burned barracks, temple of Vesta, market and the members of Romani government have been killed. Also, there will be no more Martial games in this region.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Now I belive the Romani will understand this warning and stop the constant attacks. Our next plan is to conquer, plunder and burn the city of Rome. Now I must go to sleep, as I am really tired.

    Chapter 11 - Vae victus!

Our skilled craftsmen and slaves started building plenty of new buildings, thanks to the huge amount of money we gained from the plundering and destroying of Ariminum. We focused on granaries and trade mostly. Also, we decided to make greater palaces for our nobles and leaders of some tribes, where it was needed.

But, just when I thought we could slowly plan further conquest of the Romani, these fools attacked Arretium with only 4 500 “soldiers”, despite we had 9 500 brave warriors in the city. It was clear they will easily be defeated.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Start of the battle shown how stupid the Romani are once again. Their foolish commander ordered his cavalry to attack our Baataroas! He saw he made a mistake, but just after losing his 200 men, opposite to 30 Bataoroas. He retreated and instead sent his infantry. Our infantrymen managed to surround their and slowly they started to rout. Our client ruler, Kondomos, King of Etruria attacked the Romani commander with his Romani cavalry and, soon after killed that stupid coward. All we had to do after that is to hunt as much Romani as possible. This costed us 2 000 men, but very few Romani ran away and our warriors had a reason to celebrate.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Next months were very peaceful, and we used them for development of our cities, while also preparing our warriors for an attack on those foolish and stupid Romani. New warriors were constantly coming and coming… Romani, however didn’t attack us in this period, probably focusing on Sicily. In this peaceful period, Galba, wise and calm Brannovici got another daughter - Gidonno.

And then, while I was hunting boars with my warriors, our trusted scout, Tancogiesta, told us about weak Romani forces, counting about 5 000 men going towards Arretium. It was a perfect chance for an ambush and I didn’t want to miss it, especially because I had 13 000 experienced warriors with myself at the moment.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We have completely surrounded the shocked Romani and they had no chance to escape. Iaosatae were ready to destroy them from the flanks and our infantry was guarding them.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Iaosatae started to destroy the enemy and they didn’t know what to do! They tried to attack Iaosatae, but our brave Bataroas, Lugoae, Hoplitai Haploi and others easily crushed them, constantly surrounding them. It was all over after we destroyed their Italic allies infantry, but unfortunately 280 of them escaped, but also 600 our warriors died.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Then I felt it is time to finally burn and plunder Roma to the utmost once again. I marched towards this city with my 15 500 warriors, with 1 200 more were about to come. Belenos protected Ariminum with around 1 000 men, as we heard from our scouts that Romani want to conquer this city and as they said to “liberate” it.

But, the battle of Roma came much earlier then I expected! Our scouts reported about the 2 500 men army marching towards us. Also, 6 000 Romani were about to help them – those from Roma. Anyways, they had 8 500 men compared with our 15 500 fearless warriors.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We easily crushed a big part of their weaker army and turned towards the stronger one. Our warriors surrounded the enemy infantry and I crushed Campanian cavalry. And then some of our warriors angrily attacked Lvcics Cornelivs Scipio – leader of the Romani. He nearly defeated them with his 600 cavalrymen when I furiously flanked him. After an hour of hard fighting he was DEAD!!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Their foolish infantrymen tried to escape, but our warriors surrounded them completely and killed every single infantrymen which was there! About 400 Romani escaped, but that was way from enough to even try to defend Roma! But, unfortunately, this costed us our fearless 3 000 warriors.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

And then… After more than 130 years, we, Gauls, have plundered and devastated Roma once again! The only difference is we are going to keep it this time, rule Roma and Romani will never get it back this time!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

We burned some stupid hill, called Capitoline hill – it was very, very rich, so we gained an enormous amount of money. Also, there will never be Martial games in Roma, or chariot races. We destroyed their blacksmith, burned their shrine to Jupiter, forum, barracks and killed their complete government – all nobles which were in Roma. From all this we gained more then 50 000 mnai!
After that we sacrifaced 1 000 Romani to every God of the Gallic Triad - Taranis, Essus and Teutatis, as they present criminals, fools and everything else our Gods don't tolerate - nor we!

Brennos would surely be very proud if he could see this - we proved what means being Gaul once again!

    VAE VICTUS!!
