Guys, this is my first AAR, I am playing as Arverni, VH/M.
There are no specific rules, just no cheating and reloading.
Of course, any coments are welcome

    The prologue

Today it was an important day, today Gauls could already get a King. But they didn't. We, Arverni offered unification of all Gallic tribes, we offered Aedui leader to become King of Gauls, with me as his heir.
Aedui rejected, and wanted to rule Gauls alone, with us as their slaves. To every Gaul pride is in the first place, so this was absolutely unacceptable.
Lesser tribes have supported us, but their leaders were a problem: They don't care for their people, only for themselfs. So, all Gauls now expect from us to unite our people, including Aedui - it is not their fault they have bad leaders. Now, our 30 000 strong forces are preparing to liberate Gaul. With the help of Teutates and Lugos, we will make it, we will unite Gauls, liberate our brothers everywhere accros the world and sack Rome once again!

Oh, ok. This looks nice. We shall see what this liberation turns in to; soon it may be the Aedui who seek to "liberate" the Gauls

Chapter 1 - Liberation of Central Gaul

Two of our armies have marched out of our lands in order to liberate Aedui and Carnutes. First army, led by my eldest son and heir had the task to liberate Bibracte. The army was very large - about 12 000 brave wariors. Second army, consisted of wariors from Gergovia and Viennos, under the comand od my youngest son, Belenos had the task to liberate Carnutes capital, Cenabum. But first, our forces have beseiged city of Bibracte. We managed to crush walls underneath, as our slingers undermined the Aedui walls. Aedui Vergrobet has forced 8 000 men to defend him and his son. But they didn't resist very much, knowing for who are they fighting. Bibracte was taken with 1 500 Uniters death. Our wariors gave their supplies to the people, because they had nothing to eat last two weeks of siege. We have been welcomed like real liberators. So, two of Aedui leaders were dead and 4 000 wariors marched out of Bibracte and joined Belenus. His army, counting 16 000 wariors marched towards Cenabum, but was attacked by huge amry of Aedui nobleman. I was about 18 000 men strong. But our forces defeated demoralised Aedui and killed their noble. 8 000 Aedui wariors were dead, we let the rest go back to their homes. We have lost about 4 000 men. Then we attacked Cenabum, and it was a very bloody battle - we lost 3 000 men, and 8 000 Aedui were dead, including their new Vergrobet. After this, Carnutes celebated unification with our men. But not for long.
Biturges desperately wanted us to liberate them from their tyrant. So, 9 000 wariors have marched from Cenabum, and 3 500 from Bibracte, towards Avaricum, of course lead by Belenos, who just became father. Slingers have again undermined the walls and the gates were opened to us by the Biturges - we marched through the eastern gate. Slingers have hit many of their men from the walls and Belenos killed the Biturges tyrant. We have killed 8 000 men forced to fight for him, with 2 500 of our men dead. It was a grat celebration at Avaricum, as whole Central Gaul was liberated.
We have also declared peace with Sweboz and Romani, and also established an alliance with Epeiros, Getai and Koinon Hellenon. Now, our next plan is to liberate Western Gaul, as the Lemonovici already want our help. Belenos has marched out of Avaricum with his 10 000 wariors and has already beseiged Lemonum.

    Great start!

Just one small complaint: is it OK if you make the screenshots bigger?

Chapter 2 - Battles for Western Gaul

After Belenos beseiged Lemonum, in order to liberate Lemovici, Aedui tried to use this sitiation and conquer Viennos. But per one cavalaryman were sent to report Amminos and Adcobrovatos about this. They immediatelly marched out of their cities, Gergovia and Bibracte and after one hour of march arrived at the battlefield. Aedui army counted 3 500 man, compared to ours 1 900, including 700 cavalarymen. Aedui, led by Periadoc resisted for a while, but they ran away, soonely after he was dead.
After that, they retreated to their region, but our diplomat was carefully watching them. Soon after, the battle of Lemonum beginned. Enemy army (despite forced to fight) was lead by a tyrant called Segovax.

Our man prepared for the battle and Iaosatae started to decimate the enemy.

Soon after they killed foolish Segovax.

Our wariors crushed the enemy gates using their ram.

Our men bravely defeated forces inside of the town.

After that, the battle bas over and 1 000 of our men were dead.

Belenos stayed in Lemonum for a month when a messanger of the Veneti came, talking about horrible terror which Veneti suffered, caused by their rich, foolish leader. Belenos and his men were again on move. After few weeks they arrived to Darioritum and started the siege. Then they faced the strong enemy.

    Iaosatae gave us some advantage.

Again we used ram to crush the enemy gates.

After 2 hours of determined fighting, Diviciacos was dead and the battle over, with 2 500 of our men dead.

Thanks to the Gods, everything is going well so far. Now it is time to recover financies and prepare for the final unification. Meanwhile, I have adopted Orro moc Fergalos, a brave Caturige.

We have established an alliance with Ptolemaioi and got another powerfull ally.
    Situation in Gaul:

And our diplomat on his way to Hayasdan:

Chapter 3 - The time of a relative peace

Soon after the liberation of Veneti, Belenos returned to Lemonum, but he sent 1 800 men, led by the Aedui called Motios to defeat a band of Lugoae, that pillaged the region. Motius wasn't very intelligent, but he has won this battle with no casuallities! Belenos immediatelly offered him to become part of our familly. Young Motios was very suprised - he didn't expect that. He accepted and hugged Belenos like a brother. Soon after, as he was influential, he became governor of Avaricum, the most beautifull city in whole Gaul. This was another great symbol of unification - member of Aedui was now a part of Gallic royal familly and governored capital of the Biturges.

Aedui continued to attack Viennos few times again, but they were defeated every time, thanks to my sons, Adcobrovatos and Amminnos. For that time, land and sea trade started to flourish, especially with our allies, Casse. This was the time of deveplovement and financies recover. We started to build roads, to prepare the coast for building trade ports, we also strenghened goverment of the Aedui magisterial body in Cenabum - after all Aedui are now our friends - those who call themselfs Aedui live in Cisalpine Gaul - Aedui capital, Bibracte is in Central Gaul. Also, installing of Arverni King goverment has started in Avaricum and newly-liberated Western Gaul. But then Tarbelli reported us about what is their 'ruler' doing: He paid bands to pillage the city few times. Then people asked him to stop them. He wanted them to pay him 10 000 mnai in order to recruit 500 cavalarymen!? That was abnormally high - he didn't need more than 1 500 for that. That is why Belenos was again on the move, despite he wasn't ready for attack. He felt he must liberate our brothers. And he took about 8 000 men, but most of them were untrained Lugoae. He hoped Iaosatae will make the difference. City was defended by 6 000 elite forces, cuz their leader was very rich - he hired a lot of merceneries, as citizens refused to fight by any conditions. The battle started how it was normal for Belenos - with Iaosatae. They have killed about 2 000 men. Then the most important part of battle took place in a city, close to the wooden wall. Merceneries were strong, but we have prevailed, thanks to the determined resistance by Lugoae and brave Bataroas. After that it became easier - Belenos killed Cunobelin and the battle was over, with Tarbelli liberated.

Then we started to install Arverni King goverment in Burdigala, as it was the choice of the people. Now Wolcae asked us to liberate them from their leader, as he was one-eyed, but didn't want to retire, despite it was a Celtic tadition, Meanwhile, Belenos learned a bit from the druids in Burdigala, and was again on the move. Lusotannans are our new allies, and our diplomat is watching the situation deveplovement in Iberia - Lusotannans have conquered only one city. I must go now, I have to commit sacrifaces to Teutates, in order to thank for all succes we had so far.

Please, post me how to minimise pictures.
Arverni are no more in in red with finances, I get about 4-5 000 mnai every turn, and spend everything on goverment buildings and rarely army but I haven't posted the cuurent situation - it is now 265 bc
EDIT: I see, I will do it so in next Chapters if there are big battles, I think that those two are ok
