Me too. And not even because its mine. Of course, I liked the old Pro-Curator badge the most as well. But this one is even better. Its good to be king... ermm, Pro-Curator.

I agree, the patrician badge is my least favorite. My favs are the basileus/exarch one and the civitate one. That little house just looks classy.

Whats that little thing on the senatorii badge, a little dragon or somethin? I cant make it out. Everytime I see the pro curator ring I have to think "Lord of the Rings". Its automatic. One ring to rule them all, one ring to...something something...and in the darkness bind them!

Perhaps you could install one of them and see how they look? :hmmm:

I think both of these styles are actually quite good!

I especially like the top ones!

    Perfectly agree with H&G here.

The badges that were just implemented, in my mind, are a bit dark, don't seem to go well with anything...and, no offense, are nowhere near as good as the previous ones in my opinion. Archer, in my mind your two previous sets (the one with colored initials, and the one right after) are absolutely great, and either one would be awesome to implement. Perhaps (and this is just an idea) you could preserve the second group of badges but add a colored font to each one to signify rank?

P.S. I always thought the new Quaestor rank was spelled "Tribounos", if you're still looking for help on that one.

I would like to see Archer install for himself a copy of this type of badge:

and a copy of this type of badge (Basileus version):

so that we can see what these badges look like when they're actually installed.

I really don't care either way....each rank is going to need different symbols anyway, so installing even one would give us a good idea as to how well it will look on an actual post. The colors and symbols can be slightly adjusted- what matters is the broad idea, which I think in this case is quite a good one.

I like them, but aren't they looking a bit too "ancient Greek". Perhaps we should try something more iconic.
Oh, and judging from the new badges, we'll be keeping the names "civitate" and "senatorii"?

I was asked to make something look different and so I did. I don't know if we can change the look of TWC to something a bit darker. I thought that everything would look more stone-like instead of marble or paper-like as we have now (in my opinion) since we are moving towards the Medieval era. I agree that they are a bit dark. On the other hand, I think they look as good as the previous set. I did, after all, make the previous set.

Archer, in my mind your two previous sets (the one with colored initials, and the one right after) are absolutely great, and either one would be awesome to implement. I think they are good too...but I think they aren't fancy enough. Since when do I give feedback on badges?

P.S. I always thought the new Quaestor rank was spelled "Tribounos", if you're still looking for help on that one.
Yes, yes, yes. It will be easily fixed.

LR, need an Opifex, Network Admin, Ogre badge to match your current ones.
I will do that when I can. I won't have any time tomorrow. Probably very early Monday.

EDIT: How the hell did I double post?

Damn you Rahl! Didn't I tell you at one point that they were too dark?!

Yes, but some of us like the darker theme of the badges. Some of us like the dark...

Great badges, good to see them implemented!

Well the problem is that the badge itself is dark and so is the font and so is the image.

There isn't enough contrast and differentiation in color between the image, the scroll, and the text.

I disagree; ther's quite a lot of contrast. And I certainly prefer it to Archer's set here:
