Hello XGM players. This mini mod is a standard edit I do to my XGM files, and I thought some others may appreciate it as well.
Basically I found the variety of the civilian buildings to be a bit lackluster in XGM, so to give them all a bit more character I've added additional effects to all Pantheons, culture buildings and faction monuments (they aren't all bad now!) such as...
Pantheons: Most give two additional or improved benefits, so as in Vanilla Total War no Pantheon is the same. Combat temples have also been slightly reworked, and some unique temples have been improved to ensure they are just as good as regular Pantheons for all factions.
Amphitheaters: Gives improved happiness and population growth (work around for decreased squalor), later levels require colonies.
Theaters: Gives an additional moral bonus to recruited troops. Later levels require colonies.
Despotic Law: Later levels gives a trade bonus but requires markets.
Bardic Circle: Gives Experience and Moral bonuses. Requires meeting hall.
Founding/AI/Faction Monuments: Two types. Some give a substantial bonus to the city they are in (visible in the unit card) and are self explanatory. The others give a hidden Empire wide bonus that are listed below.
Rome: Gives a bonus to culture assimilation (I.e. if a Western faction controls it all of its settlements will get a boost to Western population growth)
Egypt: Gives a boost to population growth
Parthia: Gives a bonus to happiness
Pontus: Does not give a negative law bonus like the other monuments
Gauls: Gives a moral bonus
Saba: Gives a trade bonus
Eastern Kingdoms: Does not give a negative law bonus like the other monuments
Scythia: Gives a bonus to happiness
Spain: Gives an experience bonus
Its a one file mod, so just download the file and paste it into your XGM data folder. Works with 5.19 but should be file with any other version. http://www.sendspace.com/file/qami1d
