Weird disc problem

Been trying to load GCM2 for a few days after a long hiatus of playing it without problems, and it gives me an error saying the Kingdoms disc isn't in the disc drive, when it clearly is. Little help please, or maybe there's a workaround? I'mma keep trying.

I too had the problem, but i just restarted the pc and it worked again
